Location very close to the airport as well as a supermarket. Buffet breakfast in the morning although they don't have much to choose from. Everything was very clean 😊 and the staff was very nice.

There was no juice or yogurt for breakfast, which is a plus I think. They don't have shuttle transport from or to the airport although when you do the check out they can order you a taxi. There is shower gel in the shower but anything in the sink. It is an inconvenience to wash your hands.

Large clean room, comfy bed, free water, good air con, very good free breakfast included, decent restaurant on site that opens at 11, beautiful garden and grounds, pretty good location near some shops, next door to a pharmacy and opposite a Pizza Hut (don’t judge us, but the night after we got back from the jungle, we just needed some creature conforts!). Friendly staff who speak pretty good English who helped organise a taxi to the airport and even sorted out a laundry service for us that got our clothes back the same day.

Not much really! The restaurant next door was a little on the pricey side, and we didn’t find many decent warungs nearby, but there’s always the Pizza Hut next door. Wi-Fi wasn’t amazing but being pretty dramatic now.

We stayed one night before a tour on the Sekonyer river. The Arsela is architecturally very interesting and a pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly. We also enjoyed a meal in the adjacent and connected restaurant.

It is a fair way from the centre of Pangkalanbun, but probably not an issue as it is on the right side of the city for the airport and Kumai. The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly functional.

Quite traditional and good sized clean rooms. Beds were pretty hard but air con worked well. Complimentary water provided. The restaurant food was good. Staff were very kind. The hotel ordered airport transfer which was ready and waiting for us for the few minutes to the airport.

Arsela was more luxury place than I'm used to. Very friendly and helpful staff helped to arrange my tour to nature park. Nice and very large room, also large yard with voices of jungle. Good restarurant.

I didn't like smoke smelling at corridors. Hand soap next to hands washing sink would be nice (not a problem).

04:00 wake up by the nearby mosque. The water stopped working mid-shower. Thankfully it came back on. No list but staff help with bags. Light on the air conditioning unit lit up the whole room.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, they go more than the extra mile to assist their guests when there is a specific need. The roll-up blinds make the room dark at night when one wants to sleep - no light bothering you. I could also store my luggage there for a few days until I returned.

It would have been nice if the hotel offered laundry services, or even a laundry facility, but they were able to refer one to the facilities nearby.

Big rooms, clean, air conditioning worked well, breakfast good (mostly local), staff excellent, helpful with information we needed for our flight. Airport is very near, 10min by car.

We had dinner in the restaurant which wasn’t good so I wouldn’t recommend eating there especially not the “western” food options. For the price pool would be nice.

Amazing value. The hotel has loads of character, nice gardens and a cafe. Breakfast buffet was good. 9min drive to airport (100k taxi) There are some good food options close to hotel. There is not much to do in town and NO ALCOHOL!!

excellent hotel, we loved everything there and returned after few days for another night. .very helpful staff, the sweet lady at the front desk ordered a taxi for us even befor we realized we should order one.... , very big room, clean, comfortable, good shower, good water pressure, beautiful garden, rich breakfast
