This good quality hotel comes with a truly excellent location right in the center of the "old German" part of Blumenau, in easy walking distance to all sights. The room was clean and comfortable. There is valet parking for the car in the hotel garage. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with quite a variety of fresh fruit and sweets. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful, we communicated with them via Google Translate. We did not regret our stay in this hotel and recommend it.

If you're deciding between a hotel or Airbnb in the same area, I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Hotel Europa. Older apartments in the vicinity might haven't undergone necessary renovations, potentially leading to pipe or electricity issues in some properties. You can rest assured at Hotel Europa as they maintain their rooms impeccably. I had an enjoyable stay at this centrally located hotel. Its proximity to the Sunday pedestrian-only street, numerous restaurants, a large mall, and museums made exploring the city a breeze. The picturesque views of historical buildings, the river, and bridges were breathtaking. Highly recommend this hotel for its convenience and scenic surroundings. Breakfast is great!

However, the only drawback was the late-night noise from outside, with some intoxicated individuals causing disturbances. Nonetheless, it's essential to note that this issue was beyond the hotel's control.

The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff was outstanding helping my wife with her needs. The location is central to all the downtown shopping and restaurants. The river view is the best in the area. My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Europa from June 29th to July 3rd, and we were happy with the all the staffers we met (Carlos Guilherme, Thiago, Renato). But, I was particularly impressed by the service-minded attitude, and cheerful personality of Bruno. His superb fluency of English helped Shaar and me tremendously, as he translated my needs to the appropriate staffer. He is an asset to the Hotel Europa. When we return to Blumenau, we will stay with Hotel Europa, it will be primarily because of knowing Bruno, and the friendly staffers!

Well, lamps, 110 volt outlets along with the 220 volt outlets. The outlets were very low (almost to the floor).

The breakfast was very good, lots of options to choose from. The location was walking distance to most of the attractions.

The check in hour is very late, 2:00 pm…

Location, room size, friendly staff and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was also a nice city view from the window.

The bathroom needed some renovations. I only stayed one night so I couldn't get to know most of the hotel's installations. I also didn't try the breakfast.
