The hotel is just off the main #1 highway and is easy to reach. The hotel is clean, has a marvellous breakfast - a huge feature, and was relatively quiet. There is a nice-sized room fridge and easy access to the parking lot all around the back of the hotel through a few doors. There is a swimming pool and exercise room, for those who'd like to use it.

We asked for a room on the main floor which we got. It was next to an exit onto the back parking lot. Some folks were leaving the hotel early so we heard that door go both later at night and again early in the morning. But otherwise makes it easy to load and unload the vehicle.

Excellent, I was evacuated from my home due to wildfire and drove ALL night only to get in at 9a.m. I called them and explained that I did not have anywhere to go and they got me a room at once! I was sooo grateful. The pool and hot tub were sorely needed, I was too tired to Sauna. The Breakfast was delicious, the little sausages were yummy and there was anything else you could want. I was right by the door so thankfully I did not have to carry my luggage far....it will be my go to as I travel back and forth every few months to BC. This trip was obviously unplanned.

The toilet ran.

Bed is very comfy. Hotel is clean and quiet. Pool and hot tub are added bonus. We even enjoyed a “private” hot tub with our group of 7 in the fitness centre.

I enjoyed the continental breakfast but deplore the amount of “disposable” cups, bowls, and plates that are used at hotels that offer these services. I noticed the plates were paper, not plastic, but there was no bin to sort for recycling. How could considerations of our environment become a higher and visible corporate value? I’m sure customers would value your investments in the future of the planet.

Our room was good. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast was fine. The best part: real cutlery +++.

Our reception experience. We hadn’t pre booked thinking we might be able to get a good price since it was off season and a week day. We couldn’t. When I said I that I would book on line, the reception was pretty cool. I spoke to another couple of travellers who also had felt the same. The rest of the staff was wonderful, and the morning receptionist was pleasant.

We spent 4 nights in the jacuzzi suit with our two younger children. Was an extremely great price, kids loved it, and staff were great!

The “hot” meal at breakfast could be alittle warmer but still had a great selection, coffee is pretty darn good for hotel coffee also. Also not having an elevator is a down fall. Took alot of back and forth trips upstairs to bring all the luggage to room.

Loved the jacuzzi room, great layout, fireplace and jet tub in the bedroom. Pool and hottub are nice. Very reasonably priced and great for a little romantic weekend. Pool temperature was perfect. Breakfast was pretty darn good. There were pancakes, omelettes, potatoes, bagels, toast and bacon, as well as a lot of other cold options and fruit. Unique hotel design.

Nothing

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had about the area. We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning when we left - it was very well prepared and our kudos to the lovely lady who was cooking, serving and ensuring the food was regularly topped up. I would highly recommend staying there - it had a nice ambiance.

A few of the things that could have been plugged in (mini fridge, lights, etc) made it a little difficult to get behind the furniture to plug them in. We left them as we were only staying one night and it didn't really affect us, but thought you should know.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. When we arrives with a lot of luggage and packages that couldn't be left in the car, the front desk clerk switched us to a ground floor room because there was no elevator. He also offered to help transport our items. There was a faint beeping sound, like a low battery warning, in an adjacent room. The maintenence person and front desk clerk immediately came to listen and went looking to determine its cause.

It wasn't horrible, but my 91 year old Dad mentioned the shower in the accessible room was slippery. We gave comments to staff about this. Likely an easy thing to improve with some gripping type strips strategically located.

It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The parking lot was a little crazy and it would be better if the pool and rec facilities were open later so adults could enjoy without the kids splashing around s. Not sure why these close when there’s no lifeguard anyways.
