It is situated near the beach which is amazing for families, you can easily access it. Very nice pool that could be used by everyone. The staff was very nice . The best was the dinner, we enjoyed diversity of good food. The breakfast as well was ok, however would be nice to have some diversity.

The family room was situated near the kitchen so it was very noisy in early morning as well as late night. Last night of our stay the room was cleaned very bad, with sand and hair everywhere. Would be nice to have clean room during all days of the stay.

We loved the hotel. My son and I had been watching the TDF nearby. The location near the beach, the 60's style, the fact that it is family owned and run. The staff were all very helpful. They upgraded us to a larger twin room. The bedroom was clean, the beds comfortable. The breakfast buffet by the pool is fantastic. We swam in the sea 3 times. The water was about 22 degrees Celsius, calm, clean and clear. We went to Girona in Spain - only 75 minutes away. We also visited nearby quaint fishing port/village of Collioure. We would love to come back here with other members of our family.

A very nice hotel. Breakfast was exceptional. The beach is great and not crowded.

There was some confusion regarding rooms. Part of our family was on the annex and the other in the main hotel. There was a room next door to mine which was free the entire duration. No idea why they couldn't have moved us closer together. The parking was horrendous. The parking lot is much too small and street parking is not easy to find.

The air conditioning was AMAZING! It was super hot in France, and great AC was much appreciated. I also loved being right on the beach. The staff was very nice and that dog Mayo was the bomb diggity!!

The hotel does not allow guests to take drinks from the bar onto the private beach area. I think this is a terrible mistake and a lost income opportunity for the hotel. Many resorts provide service to their beach - food AND drinks. This is not offered at Hotel Lido and it's a huge loss. It made me leave the beach a lot sooner than if there had been an opportunity to eat and drink. Just buy some plastic dishware if you're worried about breakage on the beach! Come on, Hotel Lido. Get it together!

Beach promenade on the hotel door steps. Very comfortable bed, very quiet at night. Shutters available (unfortunate we didn't discover them earlier during our stay). Little balcony. Room was clean and modern, nice laminated flooring, nice and good size bathroom.

Far enough from the town centre (40 minutes walk). Parking in the car park is tight. Shower joints in need to be redone. No complimentary water. no kettle in the room.

Location was excellent, close to Collioure, beautiful quiet beach. But watch out for very deep sea. Unless you have a level 5 in professional swimming, don't even think going more then two metres from the shore especially during windy days. Food during dinner time was excellent.

Room which was given to us was on the worst side and level, just above the noisy hotel kitchen and overlooking a car park. It was really awful. Most of the other guests (French speaking!!!) were allocated rooms on the other side of the hotel building, overlooking a quiet, nice looking pool area. Breakfast - very narrow choice. In short: bread, croissants, jams, some slices of ham.

Hôtel on the beach with option to hire sunbeds on private beach. Pool Well situated, family friendly, helpful staff. Everything you need is there Older hotel which is well looked after. Excellent restaurants. We were told on arrival that we were upgraded which was a lovely surprise. We had a wonderful short stay

The swimming pool was a little dated with tree debris floating at the top on a windy day. Would have benefited from a mid afternoon clean.

Spent 3 nights in Grand Hotel du Lido. Such a lovely experience. Reception and all staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless. Outside terraces and pool area so lovely. Dinner on both evenings was delicious. Location excellent on beach and within walking distance to resort and amenities. Great secure parking. Room had charming sea view. Would absolutely stay here again if in this area.

We had a room in the annexe across the road from main hotel. The room has a terrace but no sea view but as we were only there for one night it didn’t bother us. The room itself was good. Air con that worked perfectly and noiselessly, the bed was huge and very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant facing the beach. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our stay was absolutely incredible, starting with a warm welcome from the staff. Everyone was so cheerful and incredibly kind! The outdoor environment was beautiful and very pleasant! Our room was very nice and fresh, with an unbelievable view! The location was excellent and we couldn't have wished for a better stay! A thousand thanks to the wonderful staff at Grand Hôtel Du Lido for such professional service and a fantastic hotel.
