Lovely hotel in elevated position with fabulous views overlooking mountains and town of Cangis de Onis. Comfortable rooms. Nice terrace for evening drinks. 15-20 minute walk downhill into town centre.

Strange bathroom arrangement with shower visible in bedroom area. Terrace bar only available from 4pm when we stayed in June.

The hotel is fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations. The place is absolutely gorgeous—perched on a hill with stunning views, yet still conveniently close to town. The restaurant, with its panoramic view of the town and surrounding mountains, is simply breathtaking. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I was surprised to find that there’s an €8 charge for each extra towel, which felt a bit excessive. Also, while the food at the restaurant was delicious, the menu was somewhat limited in options. A bit more variety would have made the dining experience even better.

Lovely friendly relaxed hotel with beautiful views from its elevated position, including of the mountains. I was made to feel very welcome by the Receptionist who was warm and informative. The room was huge with good facilities. There's a bar which provides drinks and snacks and a separate breakfast restaurant. Both have fabulous views of the countryside, small town and mountains. I highly recommend driving up the twisty road to the viewing point 'Mirador del Fitu' AND then continuing all the way down to the beautiful beach at La Isla (see pic). I have submitted a photo of the view from my upper room (they call it an attic room I think).

Food in the bar was very average. There are no English channels on the TV, not even BBC News of CNN.

Everything. The staff were exceptional, the car parking was easy to access and the views were tremendous. Over the years we have stayed in many hotels across Europe and this one is one of the most pleasant. Worth paying a little extra to have one of the larger suites with a large private terrace to sit and admire the superb view.

The only negative comment we have to make, which is not the fault of the hotel, is the intrusive noise of loud barking dogs from a neighbouring property. On one occasion this continued through most of the night which made it necessary to sleep with the window closed which we prefer not to do. The hotel is situated in such a tranquil and quiet position away from traffic noise etc. that the barking dogs shatter the peace and quiet.

Amazing hotel. The facilities are great, the room was perfect for a couple of hikers. The beds were great, the light blinders were appreciated and we loved How quiet the place felt. Never heard neighbours, not even crossing the hallway. Super recommend!

The walking access to the village Canga de Onís could be more friendly. At night it’s not great to have a few meters like a mini hike and with little light.

The staff (especially Wanda) were really lovely and welcoming. The rooms with balconies are amazing and the views are incredible. They has everything you may need. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back again!!

There was one staff member that had to be standing there while we ate breakfast. It was a bit awkward at times as we were the only ones at breakfast and she was just standing there...waiting for us to finish... I get it, It's not her fault of course but rather hotel policy in case people need anything, but it just felt awkward to eat with someone standing right there and felt a bit pressured.

Plenty of choice at breakfast buffet. The town is a short walk away & there are lots of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious & the terrace was very large with a lovely view over the town & the hillsides.

Breakfast wasn't freshly cooked. We were only offered eggs on our last morning after staying for a week.

Amazing view over the mountains; lovely terrace; huge comfortable room. Nice restaurant/bar with view. Loads of parking. Walkable to town. Lovely free ice tea in reception. Not expensive. Recommend the sparkling cider for an aperitif!

Window in our room was a bit small as we were on the top floor - would have been nice to see more of the view. Be aware that some of the staff in the bar don’t speak English.

It had fantastic views of Cangas de Onis and its surrounds from our room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Car parking was easy being on site and free of charge. It was about a 20 minute walk into the town which included a short very steep section unless you followed the road. We had a wonderful fabada in the restaurant.

The lock for the safe in our room did not work and when we inquired about it were advised that it hadn’t worked for some time. We think this should be addressed for subsequent guests.

Good location, great views. Large rooms Undercover parking for motorcycles.

The "hot" breakfast wasn't hot due to the serving tray heaters not actually working - it was switch on and showed 61°C but it wasn't and no staff member checked it. We only had one meal in the bar which wasn't great No draught beer.
