The hotel has a wonderful open and warm atmosphere. It felt alive and welcoming although we were the only guests. Fabulous service - the hotel staff were unable to contact us during our journey so the cook stayed until we arrived to see if we wanted supper. The castle has a fascinating history and is an inspiring cultural project. It was a shame we were travelling though and could only stay one night.

A hidden gem, an old castle reborn as a cultural center, restaurant and hotel. In a peaceful spot on the top of a small hill, along a small river, surrounded by nature and a small village. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is good too.tge rooms are really as you expect with wooden decorations and furniture, the dinner steps are donated with an ancient fresco.

Nothing much to do around but that is also the reason why I liked the place.

The charming country house has a unique and authentic atmosphere. It's not perfect in every detail, and there is still work to be done today in terms of maintenance and reconstruction. But these circumstances are the reason for its unmatched style. It was our fourth stay and we will be back next year!

We liked everything. An amazing place to stay with a wonderfully nice staff who took care of us. If you want modern places, this place is not for you. Here can you get the atmosphere of an old palace🤗 And the best cheesecake you have ever eaten😋

A little bit too warm at the room, but it was not inconvenient.

The castle is somehow a hidden spot and absolutely amazing. It is not reconstructed to the very last detail, but this is the source of its lovely character! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Especially in nower days, it can't be taken for granted and therefore it has to be mentioned!

The bed could be a bit more comfortable and not so noisy.

It was truly special to sleep one night in a real castle.. It's setting is beautiful and it's impressive to have dinner with a view onto the rose garden and breakfast in the huge old dining room. No un-necessary luxury, instead a great experience not to forget the very friendly staff.

This is one of the most beautiful places you’ll find without an ocean… Just a lovely place… Not especially modern, but who cares with such a warm, matter of fact welcome? Highly recommended

No a thing

A beautiful castle in a small village, a bit off. Charming with some beautiful official rooms. Our bedroom was adequate and had a nice view. If hot, no AC or fan. The dinner was ok, very nice to sit outside in the courtyard. Friendly and helpful staff. Good parking.

Perhaps roller blinds or such?

Very interesting old castle. I came in at 22 pm and leave at 5 am, unfortunately I didn't have time to investigate more.
