What a lovely place to spend a week in Mallorca. The hotel is set on a very large estate full of olive trees and surrounded by miles of countryside as far as the eye can see. The rooms are spacious and clean and everything works as it should. The pool is large and never too busy. It is not particularly deep at any point so good for families, and there was a lifeguard present during the day. The breakfasts are beautiful and the restaurant food is very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole place has a lovely peaceful vibe. I would really recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay.

Nothing really - it's about a 30 minute drive to the nearest beach so you will definitley need a car.

Hotel Sa Franquesa is pure serenity — a true slice of heaven on earth that I would return to in a heartbeat. From the very first moment, as you arrive at the long driveway, there’s a distinct feeling that something special awaits. And it truly does. We were warmly welcomed with a chilled glass of Cava and a personal tour of the entire property, where every corner felt thoughtfully curated — from the tranquil pool area and peaceful spa, to the inviting restaurant and, finally, our beautifully cool and impeccably clean room. Cleanliness is something I deeply value, and our room was a perfect 10/10. Every amenity was in place, with complimentary bottles of water waiting for us — a thoughtful touch, especially on a hot day. Just outside the door, a lush green oasis stretched out — I spent over an hour simply wandering among the palms, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the resort and the pool area. Absolute bliss. What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. From breakfast to lunch, snacks and drinks by the pool, to an unforgettable dinner featuring sea bass baked in salt and a majestic paella — every detail was delivered with care and precision. The staff are wonderfully trained, genuinely kind, and made us feel like part of one big family. In short, I absolutely loved it — so much so that words don’t quite do it justice.

One small suggestion regarding the restaurant hours on Sundays — since the majority of guests (myself included) are here to fully relax and enjoy both lunch and dinner on-site, it would be wonderful to have the option of a meal service available throughout the day.

Great breakfast with plenty of options, including fresh orange juice. It would be even better with some ice for the juice — I didn’t want to ask. The staff was amazing! Mark was especially helpful and gave us lots of great tips. The place is magical, with stunning views. The welcome drink was a lovely touch to start our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The property is full of flowers and fruit trees, and there are also bikes available for guests. We really enjoyed our stay! As for the location, it’s perfect if you’re planning to visit the nearby villages, but it can be a bit far from the beaches.

We liked and enjoy everything. but, our food choices at the restaurant weren’t great. The sangria had star anise, which gave it a taste we didn’t enjoy. Also, I found it a bit strange to be served shrimp with the head and shell still on — it was messy and not easy to eat. But from what I saw, that seems to be a common way of serving shrimp in Mallorca. but the serves were amazing.

Lovely small rural hotel, away from the hustle and bustle. Good size bedroom and bathroom with a sun terrace. Pool area good size and clean. Guests consisted of mainly couples and small families. It's a quiet and relaxing place to stay, not a party place which is why we chose it. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of different options. There is a restaurant onsite serving local/ rustic lunch and dinner options (meat/ fish and potatoes/ veg, they do have a vegan menu as well), views from the outside dining area are stunning. There were other things we didn't utilise, ie, free yoga session on Monday morning, massages.

The restaurant is closed on Sunday. As the hotel is so rural, you will need a car to drive to any restaurants or book a taxi. There is a small gym, but it was very hot and the air conditioning didn't seem to work.

What a lovely welcome at such a stunning place. Who could resist a glass of cava and a comfy seat with superb view on arrival? The room was comfortable, clean and quiet with all we required. The pool was clean and good temperature (of course felt a bit cold to start with!)

Would have scored a 10 but sadly our main courses at dinner were both not great - a little overcooked and tough which was a great pity as all other aspects of our stay were wonderful Anyone allergic to cats should be aware that there a lot of lovely cats around - well cared for and it seems trained not to come into the rooms.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The property felt cozy and peaceful, with a lovely, private atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Breakfast was especially nice, fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and served with kindness. It genuinely felt like a home away from home.

Nothing major comes to mind. If anything, the secluded nature of the property might not suit those looking for a livelier or more central location, but for us, it was perfect.

Spacious and peaceful property. The layout of the area is well designed and it’s a perfect sanctuary yet close to the beach and other areas that are more bustling with people. Everything about the location to the meals, the suites, the pool and the small aerobic fitness facility are fabulous. We even had a fantastic massage listening to the birds, wind nature, pond and frogs. A very special little retreat to visit and stay.

The staff was amazing! From the front desk/reception, the nice ladies from the room service and all the amazing staff from the restaurant who really made us feel very comfortable and treated us like kings! We really would like to thank the restaurant staff for all! The food also was amazing and every day a different menu The hotel is really big with lots of space and nature! Lots of corners to rest, read a book Very good and large swimming pool as well!

The best place to stay in Mallorca. Perfect to enjoy the countryside in a beautiful property, with a vineyard on the back of the pool. Big and comfortable room. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff were super nice. Good place for a couple’s special trip, or with the family. Wish to stay 1 month. Central location for the best beaches. Thank you!

Would be nice if the breakfast began earlier for the ones who want to go to the popular beaches (that get full early).

Lovely breakfast spread. I only tried the cold section. We loved the laide back atmosphere. Location was far away from the madding crowds. Perfect. Roads were good. Rooms are huge. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is great. 12 noon check out. Library. Honesty bar.

We only tried dinner once. Service was so slow. The meal was cold and not great at all. Did not to risk it a 2nd time. Running path could have been marked.
