The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast staff was especially excellent. They offer a wide variety of gluten-free options for those with allergies. The breakfast was generous, the rooms were spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the parking spaces was convenient and right in front of the hotel. We stayed for three nights and were very pleased.

Because the hotel is located behind the highway, getting down to the sea is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. You can also hear the highway noise at night.

Facility is average, but the friendliness of staff totally makes up for it! Although outside Bari, the train station makes it super easy to get into the city and any city on the beautiful Bari coastline. A free shuttle service brings you to and from the Torre a mare station. Restaurant is very good and staff, again, very friendly. Breakfast is very varied and the Apulia selection in particular is delicious!

Décor is a bit outdated. On a strada statale. No access to the seaside.

After an AC disappointment at a different hotel, it was a relief to finally have a cool room to sleep in. It was super comfortable, both in temperature and bedding. Fast communication with staff and they have free shuttle to the nearest train station with short notice, which was essential to us without a car. Drinkable tap water in the hotel room.

The location is not convenient unless you have a car. You can't really walk safely to the nearest bus station, but they do offer shuttle to train station(and pickup from torre a mare) that goes directly to bari centrale and other cities around. The tickets are cheap and it's an effective way of travelling around puglia. We took a trip to polignano a mare and it was amazing. They do have a restaurant on the rooftop with an amazing view, but the food was on the expensive side for what you get so we prefered to eat out in the city.. Also, you have to order a side with your main dish, which we did not know, otherwise you don't get any potatoes or sauce to your fish fillet, or whatever you decide to eat. It was unusal for us.

Location was good for us as we had a car, thus needing a car park, good base for travelling by car to different parts of Puglia. Rooms a bit dated, especially shower, Italian shower’s aren’t made for anyone over 175cm. Staff were lovely, restaurant food was very good quality. Buffet breakfast was ok.

A pool would have helped, no fly screens so mosquitoes got in, couldn’t get fresh air in, air con controlled itself. Dated shower, especially its size, water all over the bathroom floor when showering.

From the outside it looks like a vintage hotel, but once you walk in you can see the updates in the lobby. Rooms were fine. Bathrooms have great showers. Breakfast was very complete and there is plenty of parking. Hotel is 15 mins from Bari city center and it has plenty of parking space. Good place to rest is passing through.

Bunk/Murphy bed was uncomfortable. Our son had a rough night and woke up with back pain. Queen bed was great. Not enough outlets for 3 people. Only 1 available outlet.

Very clean and comfortable

Apple Maps on my IPhone showed this hotel in the middle of historical district of Bari!!!. That’s why I booked it, and when we walked there with our suitcases and kids the hotel wasn’t there. This hotel is 20 min outside of Bari. Unfortunately, we had to pay for taxi there and back to Bari in am, and missed the theatre play that night in Bari, because of misleading location representation.

This is the first time I have a few negative comments. Upon arrival at reception, there was a group of four young ladies talking over a computer monitor. None of them bothered to say hello, ask us what we're there for, welcome us. Quite amazing, I usually arrive very late and the duty porter is always so helpful. My second negative comment concerns breakfast. Definitely not up to the Barion's high level. Most trays were empty at 09.00, nobody bothered about it for almost 15 minutes. Admittedly the hotel was quite full.

It is not a modern building and rooms are not super large. In addition, the restaurant on the rooftop could do better and leverage the great view with an upgrade in the menu.

Room was just adequate. Very small bath and shower. No dresser to hold clothes. Lived out of a suitcase for a week. Our room was on the fifth floor right under the outdoor breakfast area. Early in the morning you could hear tables and chairs being moved around.

Lovely breakfast spread. Great location near the motorway. Spacious ground floor area. Many lifts.

Same evening menu for the whole stay. The sensor lights in the bedroom waking people up when one goes to the bathroom in the night.
