The hotel is amazing, with a very friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist. It is situated in an incredibly beautiful location, surrounded by a national park with plenty of hiking trails. The spa area is definitely worth spending time in, featuring a variety of saunas and a swimming pool. Additionally, you can visit the separate Sauna Village, which offers three different saunas, each with a different temperature. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would gladly come back!

I wish the spa and sauna stayed open a little longer, as they close a bit early, in my opinion.

An outstanding hotel suitable for any type of vacation. The staff is exceptionally professional, friendly, and attentive. I would like to highlight the Greek bartender at the bar, who skillfully caters to weary guests after a day of outdoor activities—undoubtedly one of the finest bartenders I've encountered in my travels across Europe. The restaurant staff is excellent, demonstrating hard work, attentiveness, and exceptional courtesy. Special appreciation goes to Ivana, a Croatian lady whose professionalism and guest treatment are exemplary. The gym and spa facilities are of high quality. Additionally, the Sauna village, set amidst a well-maintained garden, offers multiple Sauna rooms. Kudos to Andy, the 'sauna meister,' for his exceptional skills and positive attitude. He is truly an asset to this hotel. Congratulations to the hotel owners for creating a remarkable property that caters to the guests' needs. Bravo!

Rooms must have tea/coffee/kettle facilities. This is important especially in winter.

Upon arrival, we were pleasantly welcomed at the reception with a glass of sparkling wine. We had a villa room, it was literally like a castle, amazing stylish furnishings and a beautiful view of the valley from the room. Wonderful wellness with a swimming pool and several saunas, where we relaxed pleasantly throughout the day. The breakfasts were very rich with a large selection of everything. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a nice stay.

The spa guy! He was great! Helped us out and kept inviting us and updating us about the spa activities. The Saunadorf is amazing. The view form there is very nice and you feel like you're tucked away in nature up there.

There were no tea and coffy facilities in the room. We couldn't really get any tea when we arrived. And after 9 hours of driving, that would have been nice. No dog bowls were offered to us. Also, we couldn't turn off the fan in our bathroom.

Hotel was great and the people very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional, plenty to choose from. We cannot comment on the evening meal as we didn't eat at the hotel in the evening. The bar keeper and staff were very friendly and we had some lovely cocktails in the evening. The sauna in the hotel and the swimming pool were great and not very busy. We will definitely be returning again. We booked the Deluxe Suite and this was amazing. Very comfortable and plenty of room.

The breakfast was tasty and provided a variety to choose from. The place was relaxing and provided a wonderful view of the nearby towns and Bavarian Forest from the terrace located on the top floor. The booklet in the rooms provided a list of services and was presented in clear language in both English and German. I found it very inclusive and thoughtful. The hotel is located in a quiet area, and one can truly enjoy a relaxing weekend.

The peaceful location, the spa is a great addition.

It was really annoying that nothing was in English , general information, menus, activities. Some staff was unable to communicate with us, very frustrating.

Very spacious modern room with a lovely view across the hills and valleys. Great place to get to know the region with lots of hiking and biking trails. Excellent breakfast and in-house dinner.

Beautiful location and property. Our large room overlooking the mountains was gorgeous to just sit in the viewing window and relax. I was truly transported by sauna village. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.

The hot tub didn't seem to be operational during our stay

The breakfast was good. But the dinner was not.
