The hosts are lovely, they take extra time to make sure that everything is alright. The location is quiet and nice, pretty close (by car) to the beach and Po's Delta. We had everything we needed and the breakfast was ok.

We were 2 families, one in a double room and one in an apartment. The double was renovated and was lovely, but the apartment was a little oudated and the biggest issue we had was the noise. The apartment is not soundproofed and we heard quite well what the neighbours were doing. Also, the bathroom is a little small and weird. Overall it was a nice stay and we had a pleasant time.

Staying in Comacchio, right in the middle of fabulous Po delta (a must for birdwatchers), a 40 mn drive from the spectacular Ferrara or Ravenna. The village is charming and Al Ponticello is ideally located. Our hosts suggested all kinds of local activities, before and during our stay. Our flat was very comfortable and fully furnished, with the perfect view on the little bridge. The kitchenette is fine for everyday cooking, with all necessary utensils; you'll have to bring your own salt and pepper, olive oil and coffee, though. 2 nights were definitely not enough, we'd love to visit again!

Beautiful location overlooking the canal. Host was gracious and helpful, meeting us at the parking lot and telling us about places to see in Commachio. He went so far as to make dinner reservations for us at an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of variety. Fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, and various breads. He made us cappucino and espresso. The room was large and bed was comfy. We particularly liked the bicycle themed decor.

The Hosts Riccardo and Sarah are outstanding. We got so many tips and we really enjoyed the offered birdwatching tours. The location is calm but restaurants and shops are very close by. The breakfast is excellent and prepared with love. So we always had a good start into the day. What else? Everything is perfectly clean. We can really recommend a stay at Al Ponticello.

We had a problem with the booking regarding the numbers staying…things were a little lost in translation - fortunately this was resolved. If you stay here you need to be aware that the reception in closed btw 2-4pm

The B&B is very well positioned, short walking distance to pretty much everywhere, nice location! The staff was helpful and always nice to chat with, they helped us organising the trip to the Valli di Comacchio which was outstanding and a fantastic experience for all of us.

The room was quite small and a bit tired ( don’t know about the other rooms). The breakfast was ok but there was not much selection. We had an issue with the parking space we booked, on our way back after dinner we found it occupied and we had to park off road. The next morning the lady in reception apologised and at least the charge was removed.

Excellent breakfast & fabulous staff. Great suggestions about what to do & where to eat.

Our room was in the attic. Lovely but it needed a second chair.

Perfect place to stay to learn more about the Po Delta and get all possible tips for birding and nature observation as one of the managers is also a great nature guide.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our reason for the stop in Comacchio was to see some of the birds in the Po Delta area. Riccardo was so helpful and is fully invested in sharing the uniqueness of this part of Italy. Boscoforte is well worth the visit.

Air conditioning worked poorly (but in fairness it must be said that we said it only on departure so the hotel had no chance to fix it). We opened the windows instead :-) We first found out on departure that there was a fridge in the room. It was a bit hidden
