Although I have visited more than twenty countries world-wide, it was at the age of 65 to visit Karpenisi for the first time. The hotel from almost any point of view wad marvelous. The old receptionist's proposal to visit Kefalovryso & Koryschades was met by enthousiasm from both of us, and with great sentiments as well. We also visited Megalo & Mikro Chorio that were also worth of getting there. The whole Karpenisi area is a beautiful place with an extra ordinary view, good food, and warm people. We also had some apple pie and coffee at the nearby Saloon that offers horse riding, too. We hope we come back within a year's time...

Even though there was some parking space in front of the hotel, enough for (des)embarking, the public parking lot was a couple of hundred meters apart.

It is very near at the centre of the town, and in the hotel there was somebody to take care of our needs. We had some recommendations of restaurants and other shops in the area and routes for walking.

The breakfast wasn't that nice, basic things like eggs boiled, sometimes omelette, some local marmalade,honey. I am not fond of sugar so I had some limitations.Other than that it was decent for what it was offering.

The soundproofing of the windows was not that good. The shutters were also very old. I strongly suggest to the hotel to change them.

- Really helpful and friendly staff, everything seemed to be run by a family and they were really welcoming to us. - Central location , allowing you to walk anywhere in the town. - Room was spacious, warm and cleaning was thoroughly carried out daily. - Breakfast was fine, Greek flavors that you would pick for your own home and not the fancy stuff you get in other places catering to foreign tastes.

- Terrible wi-fi reception. The speed was ok taking into consideration the location of course but the reception was awful. Our room had a wi-fi receiver in a straight line from the door at 3m away yet inside the room I could get 1 bar at times and no reception for the rest of the day! - Elevators were really confined. You can fit 2 adults in each but for a family a couple of trips are required. Baby strollers might fit based on their size.

The location of the hotel is in the centre of the city, but it was quite at night. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The hotel has a lobby with view on one of the main streets. Good value for money.

The carpet in the room need a change.

Great location,comfortable bed and breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Free parking nearby, restaurants and pubs all within short walk. Lovely view from our room ,reminds me of Switzerland.

The character of the hotel building.

It was a bit difficult finding the hotel. There is no street number on the building and the Hotel Signage is slightly different than google maps.

Nice facilities, multiple elevators, quick access to rooms

The hotel is on a one way street and vehicle access might be difficult. Also, too little parking spaces on that street

excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, superb location at the center of the village

the open fire place is extremely beautiful and atmospheric, but the smell of the smoke filled the premises. they need to service the chimney

The location is the best part. And you do feel like you stepped into a place in Switzerland. The wood work was amazing around the hotel.

The rooms need a little love. And breakfast was a little disappointing. Not much of a choice.
