The Pushkar Palace is ideally located right on the lake, with stunning views. Our room was very well appointed with great amenities, including an incredibly comfortable bed. We slept very well! The staff were excellent, and we even arranged with the front desk for the best driver to take us onward to Udaipur.

I understand it is a historical hotel that keeps with the antiquity of the style, but I would have loved a more comfortable chair outside of our room to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. I still did regardless.

The property was beautiful, well-maintained, and had a very welcoming vibe. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal—close to key attractions yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway.

There wasn’t much to dislike, but a little improvement in Wi-Fi connectivity would make the experience even better.

This is a great holiday with faded glory but first class location, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. The rooms are all you need for a two night stay in charming Pushkar. I was here 5 years ago, little has changed except there is a new terrace. You get what you pay for but this hotel has a great feel to how the days of the Maharaj of Kishangarh were. Lovely, quiet,characterful hotel in a great location with some of the best views of the lake in Pushkar. The staff were professional and attentive., and the breakfast had a good variety each day. One of the best hotels we've stayed in , due to its great character and sense of slightly faded grandeur. Excellent value for money.

India as you dream of it. "British style" atmosphere of the last century. Fantastic location with romantic lake view. Large and well furnished rooms. Very kind staff. Recommended for those who want to treat themselves well, perhaps after a long trip.

The wifi only works very well on the sofas in front of the reception. In the rooms the signal is weak and very bad. This should be taken into account if you need to work with an internet connection or if you want to make a phone call in Europe via WhatsApp.

The hotel is literally in the best spot in Pushkar. Wonderful views of the lake and sunsets. Very attentive staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean - the rooms were not enormous but plenty of space. Within less than 5 mins you could walk right into the 'centre' full of shops and activity. We had a wonderful cookery lesson at the Bahar cooking school. The food was delicious.

Excellent location, facing and very close to Lake Pushkar, great opportunity to watch the fire pooja by the pandits, the genuine kindness and warmth of all members of staff at the hotel. Enjoyed the experience, walking and shopping in the colourful nearby bazars

Not been pestered by the locals !Tourists visiting this sacred place need to respect these people’s spiritual belief and culture

Location is brilliant being right on the lake. Sitting out at breakfast looking over the beautiful lake while Hindi music wafts across the water was an experience I won't soon forget.

Needs an update. Ageing furniture and, like most local hotels, ancient wiring and electrics. Lake front suite doesn't have a view but there is a beautiful wide verandah with cane furniture.

We didn't eat in the restaurant (not even breakfast) so cannot say what it was like. The hotel has enormous character. Beautiful old wooden chests of drawers and paintings. Very quiet. Lovely garden. Excellent location on the lake and right by the main street with all the shops.

The air-conditioning unit was quite old and very noisy!

Charming old hotel in a prime location right on the lake and only steps from the bazaar. All the staff, especially the man on the front desk, were very friendly and helpful. I had a four poster bed and a small balcony. The corridors were atmospheric with their chairs and tables and old world charm. My laundry came back beautifully clean. A relaxed and peaceful stay in a beautiful location - thank you.
