It’s right next to a beautiful lake, all the rooms have a beautiful view to it. The food from the buffet is also good although I would appreciate it if they had more beverage options included other than water.

The personal speaks little to no english, neither did they speak german which I found to be quite shocking as I went to an international event, nonetheless they were very patient. Another thing is that when room service went to my room, they left my room’s door open which I found very upsetting. The rooms do not have tv, fridge, coffee machine or just any other accomodation other than the beds. The lack of a fridge is manageable by leaving your stuff outside by the balcony but it would have been great to at least have a microwave and tv. Also, there is no public transport in the area nor are there cabs or shuttles.

Great location in the heart of the nature. Very friendly staff. I spent great time at Hotel Medlov with my friends over the weekend.

I liked that the hotel room was just like it had been in the 80s. (Not much could have changed except the bathroom and the toilet that seemed to be renovated recently...:D) I checked it on the hotel's own website that you can reserve a room with "retro" styling ..for some extra money! :D + The neighbourhood is very nice: pine woods and hills all around ..not to forget the lake (Medlovka) the hotel picks its name from. And all this you can enjoy from the balcony of your room! :) + You can have a good coffee at the bar! :)

- The walls are too thin - if you happen to have loud neighbours (just like me) you can only dream of peace and quiet. - There's only two electric sockets on the wall. - The breakfast (which was included in the price) was alright but you'd better skip that something they call a coffee in the restaurant... :/ - The so-called buffet dinner (that i pre-paid for) was something to forget - it was basically pasta either with sweet or salty(?) dressing... :U I found it weird that we all had to use the same fork or spoon to take the pasta or the dressing onto our plates. During COVID-times it is not the best idea... :((

The receptionist was not welcoming at all, no smile, no client approach.. There was no hair dryer in the room, There is no restaurant for a diner, just a buffet finishing at 8pm. The breakfast is average. They are giving you a fine of you check-out directly after 10am...so be sure you are not late. The fine is 500kc/20€.
