Exactly what I needed- a clean and comfortable place to sleep after a long day of driving! Staff was very friendly and understanding and that I’d be arriving a few minutes past the 10pm check in. My room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and I really appreciated the fridge with a decent sized freezer. Also loved that they had a coffee maker that makes a full (small) pot rather than a single cup. Totally met my expectations for a roadside Drive-up motel. If I drive through that area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Ireland Inn again

That the door didn’t have a chain or deadbolt

I liked that this was a family run motel. It was a very personalized experience. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Scheduling for arrival was difficult because I was a hour early and the owners were not there at the time (I forgot about the time change). Murdo, SD is remote enough that I did not get service to receive the information for the room until they got back from the doctor's office. So, it was a long wait in my car.

This was a great find. Just off the interstate, yet far enough that you did not hear traffic. The room was very clean with everything you needed for a nice stay. The beds were comfortable allowing for a restful sleep. I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee in the morning from the in room coffee maker. Travelling as a single female, I felt safe. Would stay here again!

Holly and Lee are absolutely wonderful. I called ahead due to traveling with a pet and late arrival and they were so sweet to go ahead and give my the room number and to leave lights on for me. I was so exhausted that it meant the world to me to quickly come into and clean and cozy room. It was also quiet which made for an excellent night’s sleep which was so desperately needed. In the morning I spoke with Holly and thanked her for her hospitality; she graciously gave me the scoop on nearby attractions and directions to them. A lovely place to stay and couldn’t be nicer for an amazing price point.

We arrived after 10:00pm due to 100 miles of ice on Interstate 90, and the motel owner waited for us before closing down the office. It was great to have 3 beds. That option is uncommon for most motels. The motel staff called after we left to offer to mail a pair of glasses we had left behind.

Our room door only had one lock which was on the handle itself. I feel safer when there is at least one more lock of the swing bar type.

There were three full-size beds in the room. The room was clean and the staff friendly. It had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. There was no ice. The sink was outside the bathroom which was very convenient.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Good spot to stay when passing through Murdo. Walk to a grocery store and restaurants. Owner is super nice and welcoming. It's nice being able to park right in front of your room.

Bathroom size is a bit tight for a large human, but I have to say it was great water pressure and very hot water. Little pricey for what you get. Would be just right at $69.99 a night.

Rooms were very spacious, clean and offered us a three bed option for our family. Check in/out was simple and staff was very kind.

My only complaint was lack of food options in the area. We were unable to find any open until morning and settled for the Subway in the gas station who was out of most food options such as lettuce, spinach and so on.

The hospitality is impeccable - the gentleman at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. He went above and beyond to help us out.

The tv service was a little spotty but I don’t know how much of that is actually within the Inn’s control.

I loved this place! I felt right at home. My husband and I were traveling through to WA, and we were able to book here at Ireland Inn. The lady at the front office was so nice and helpful.
