I liked the scenery and the location away from the day to day life. Smally, Teacher and Mercy were amazing and attended to most of our needs
I didn't like the fact that there was no note on the main gate to direct guests on what to do upon arrival. The bush has zero signal to make contact. It will help a great deal to communicate to guests on what to do upon arrival. I stood on the gate for a while before realising that I can just push it open.

The staff, the pools, the animals❤️❤️
The room I was i, they didn’t specify when I booked that there is a huge distance between the rooms. I was so scared as I was visiting by myself, couldn’t eve lock the room from outside. The fact that they were being loadshedded made things even worse also the WiFi was so weak it couldn’t even connect on their TV. The road to the place is very bad and even worse if it raise

The fact that the lodge rooms are centrally located with exotic animals all around. We arrived after dark and had the amazing surprise of having lions in our backyard, when we opened our rooms’ sliding doors.
The set menu was tasty, but as a suggestion for the future maybe have options for the guests to choose from. A variety is always nice. Also with regards to the game drives, the originally quoted and paid price for the booking included an early morning game drive. I was offered a sunset game drive which I had to pay for in full which I didn’t think was fair because it meant I was charged for a game drive that my hubby and I didn’t get to enjoy. In all fairness we shouldn’t have been charged full price for the sunset game drive. Also put full body mirrors.

I would like to appreciate the two ladies and the gentleman who always prepared the fire for us great service, also the breakfast in the morning, and the lions makes it feel like you are in a safari. Very peaceful and a great place away from city bazz.
The gravel road leading to place because I was driving a sedan but not bad at all

We have been to Simba Safaris on multiple occasions. It offers food for our souls to sit around a campfire at night and to hear the roar of the lions, the tiger and the call of the hyenas. The friendliness and hospitality of the owner and staff is commendable. Their service, specifically cleanliness, improved drastically. Its rustic so enjoy the experience of the African bush and the environment! If you are a birder ... take the Canon with as there are many different species that will make for great photographic excursions!
There are small maintenance related matters that should be improved.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Simba Resort, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the helpers (Meisie and Welcome) were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. Marti, Steven, and the three boys were warm and hospitable, making us feel like part of the family. The accommodation was excellent, with our bungalow being spacious and well-appointed. We were particularly grateful for the TV, fridge, microwave, and kettle that were provided, making our stay feel like home (full well knowing we in the bush...). The resort's exotic cats (Lions, Tiger and leopards), incl. 2 hyenas and many buck species were a rare sight to see up close. The breakfast was scrumptious and exceptionally tasty, with Marti going above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. When we mentioned that we don't eat meat, they even arranged for us to have fish, which was a lovely touch. The sunsets at Simba Resort were breathtaking, and the animal feeding sessions on Saturday were a highlight of our stay. Watching the leopards, lions, and other animals up close was an exhilarating experience. What truly set Simba Resort apart, however, was Marti, Steven and the staff's exceptional customer-centric mindset and kindness. They made sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay, and their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were away from home, but in the best possible 'bush' way. Overall, I would highly recommend Simba Resort to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience with animals at close range. The combination of stunning natural beauty, exotic cats, and warm hospitality makes it the perfect destination for those seeking a break from the city and enjoying bush life for a while...
There was nothing to dislike...

The place was amazing. The owner gave us such amazing hospitality. We did not feel like guests; it felt like we were old friends catching up after such a long time😂❤️. The interaction and nonstop conversation were on another level. The sad moment came when we had to leave Simba Safaris. We wanted to stay and enjoy the fresh air and the interaction with the big cats. If you like big cats, this is your place to visit. We had a wonderful picnic right next to the white lion. Mr King! We had a wonderful breakfast with baby tiger, Shira We helped with feeding the Big Cats! I can go on and on about the place
