Staff, especially Pamela, were outstanding. All our needs were met and our stay was simply wonderful. The room was lovely and immaculate. There was a fireplace but we didn’t use it since the weather was pleasant. King size bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The breakfasts were fantastic! The entire hotel, including the lovely courtyard, was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Quiet area. A walk to the plaza was pleasant and took less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!

There was nothing negative about our stay. We plan on returning and enjoying the hospitality of Hotel La Casona soon.

The property was beautiful. Lots of antiques and fireplaces. Some very quaint touches. The included breakfast was amazing. Alonso would make us pretty much whatever we wanted and it was delicious. And he was no nice and helpful. He gave us some tips of places we should drive out to. The rest of the staff were great too. It helped that the hotel was not busy during the week. They also took dogs and that was great. The area was super quiet for sleeping.

It wasn’t really walkable to too many eating places.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The attention of cleaning, dining and reception staff was exceptional

The only thing was there was a rooster singing at 4 am, but it wasn’t at all the hotel’s fault.

that has nothing to do with property. is just the roads and streets in Tapalpa are terrible so to arrive to the hotel is not that comfortable.

The breakfast was delicious and the people that work there was so friendly. The hotel is very clean and I will be back.

We love this hotel. The breakfast is great, the staff is nice, and we love that it is pet friendly so we can bring our dogs along with us. This was our third time staying at La Casona and we would consider it any time we travel to Tapalpa.

The beds were a little bit uncomfortable and the wifi connection was not so great at times. The price for the weekend is a little bit high when these things are considered.

Lovely decor and had a warm feel. Staff was friendly. Welcomed my small dog.
