A friend and I were teaching at a BSA Merit Badge College at Iowa Central. I hadn't stayed in a Sleep Inn, before, but it looked good and was close to the school. We were pleasantly surprised! They took great care of us, the beds were comfortable, and the covers surprised us with how warm they were. It was quiet, but with the kids at the pool, I know they were around, so that was great. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

The Sleep Inn in Fort Dodge is a well appointed hotel with a friendly staff -- the check-in clerk remembered me three days later when I came back!-- a decent breakfast, and comfortable beds. Overall, it was a very good place to stop off for a night.

The breakfast is OK if you are not gluten free. My wife needs gluten free foods and has a significant sensitivity to eggs . There was only a yogurt cup for her breakfast. It sure would be nice if hotels began to stock foods that would make it possible for her to have an OK breakfast.

Clean spacious room. Bedding, towels were not stained or torn. And it was completely stocked. Did not have to contact room service for anything. The staff was friendly and caring.I use a cane. Jennifer was mopping a spill in the lobby. She walked with me to the carpet to be sure I would not slip or fall. That is excellent service. Breakfast was good. Lot of variety. Dinning room, lobby, halls all clean and in good repair.

Missing ledge in handicap shower to hold soap and other toiletries.

I am on a long motorcycle road trip and arrived early to get much needed sleep. Desk staff Jeniffer was OUTSTANDING! Polite professional efficient and friendly at the same time which are lost traits in todays world. All hotel clerks should learn from this woman (I have met several on my trip that need retraining) Hotel was clean and well kept. GREAT PLACE FOR THE PRICE !!

Minimal food options …but I understand that requires help which is hard to find. Really no complaints

Good location on the outskirts of Fort Dodge and close to main access roads. Was ideal for a business visit to Fort Dodge. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is fairly standard but sufficient to get you going in the morning. Great value for money.

Breakfast was great, large selection. Fruit was perfect. The pool was shallow but was refreshing, not cold. Not too much chlorine.

There was not a hot tub in the pool area. Floor was cold from pool to bathroom. Room bathroom floor was cold. Had to reach across shower spray to turn it off and on. (was door on the wrong side?)

More selections. The breakfast looked adequate- oatmeal was original without any items to add (sugar, raisins, nuts). Typical scrambled eggs, all white breads or bagels. 2 choices of fruit (banana or apple) one kind of yogurt. We chose to go to Perkins and we waited forever. They were not busy and we waited 50 minutes before food arrived. Should have eaten at the hotel!!!

Breakfast quality very poor. Typical American style continental breakfast with some stale bagels and bread, powdered eggs with no flavor, and breakfast links.

Great breakfast (except for the coffee). Very clean room and good size for a one night stay over.

We stayed in a west side room facing a busy highway and the traffic was loud. Try a room facing east if given the choice.

This hotel has a “great sleep” theme and it definitely delivers. It has been carefully organized to make sure that you get the best sleep possible. There are blackout curtains, very comfortable beds, soundproofing and calming hints and suggestions throughout the hotel to encourage you to have a great sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast area is really great. The coffee was a few notches up from the usual motel breakfast coffee and the breakfast lounge was unusually comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from a gas station that has an unusually generous and fresh selection of ready-to-eat food.
