We had an amazing one-week stay at Trident Jaipur, where everything was simply the best—food, staff, and accommodation were exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly cared for. Every staff member, from the front of house to the chefs, goes above and beyond to take care of their guests. A special moment that touched us was when my husband fell sick due to a cold—the team not only prepared homemade remedies for him but also constantly checked in on his well-being. Whenever I dined alone, they would kindly ask about his health, showing genuine concern and warmth. One day, we sent back a tea that wasn’t to our liking, and to our absolute surprise, the General Manager personally emailed us to apologize. This level of attentiveness and hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. Trident Jaipur truly sets the gold standard for hospitality. The Oberoi hospitality is amply evident in how responsive the staff are, always attentive to your needs. The location is on the main Amer road, and yet away from the din of the city. Room is well appointed and comfortable. The park out front is a nice open area for children to play in, although we couldn't fully use it because of the rains.

Surprisingly the food quality was quite poor - not something you'd expect from the stable of Oberois. Unfortunately if it was just one instance, we would have passed it off as an omission. But on every occassion food was sub par, and at times just poorly prepared. I relayed the feedback to the hotel team as well and they were profusely apologetic. While I appreciate the humility with which they took the feedback, the heart of the matter is the taste and culinary finesse which was lacking.

Our stay at Trident Jaipur was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome by Chandan, the hotel chauffeur, who shared Jaipur’s history during our airport transfer, to the smooth check-in facilitated by Mamtaz at reception, every moment exceeded expectations. Our room offered a stunning lake view with the illuminated Jal Mahal, and we were touched by the thoughtful anniversary decorations and cake—a delightful surprise. Dining was a highlight, with an extensive buffet of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Chef Himanshu guided us to try local delicacies like Kadhi Kachori and Dal Pakwaan, while Chef Monica and the team ensured every dish was perfect. Special thanks to Manas, Soumyo, Vaibhav, Muskaan, and Asit for their care, including the soothing ginger tea by Asit. The specially prepared Bikaneri Murgh by Chef Himanshu and Executive Chef Takmeel’s attentive follow-ups made the experience even more memorable. Our room was impeccably maintained by housekeeping, with Anish, an intern, providing a portable heater for added comfort. The reception team, especially Kanishk, ensured our plans went well treated us to a delightful complimentary coffee while we waited for our cab. Excellent gesture again. Evenings at Trident were vibrant, featuring folk dances, music, live lac bangle making, Rajasthani puppet shows, and Tarkashi artists. The cultural immersion added to the charm. We highly recommend Trident Jaipur and look forward to exploring their other properties in Udaipur and across India.

They could do with more vehicles and drivers during peak times to accommodate the sight seeing needs of all their guests and make the wait shorter. Other than that, absolutely nothing to comment about....

Exceptional experience! ration price to quality is absolute steal. Spotless clean, well mentioned swimming pool! amazing service, not like SEA amazing but globally amazing! 🤩 i could go back to Jaipur only to stay there again! Not only best so far within the price range in India but based on my experience in SEA. Amazing food - both breakfast and dinner, plus the restaurant stuff goes above and beyond! Highly recommend! Special shout out to Mamraz for advise and help with Indian railways mess 🙏🏻

The staff were welcoming and great at their service. Location is at a great place and we can see the Jalmahal right in front of the property. And the built up area is really vast this gives you a lot of privacy for families.

Bathroom is very congested and does not have space to take bath. you have to use the bath tub and stand in that and take bath. the room looked quite smaller then expected. the breakfast did not had any variety. it was very much the same on all the 4 nights and 3 days we stayed.

We loved everything about the hotel from the location, amenities, to the staff and delicious food. The hotel is just outside town, on the way to Amer palace. It’s very serene and peaceful- just what we needed. The staff were incredible. The front desk staff were super helpful when we ran into issues with our flight. The dining staff were amazing- they went above and beyond to introduce us to Rajasthani dishes. Highly recommend the Thali. We’re in India for 5 weeks and this has been our best meal far- especially the beetroot halwa. Highly recommend having dinner here even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Huge thank you to dining staff - Asit, Maskan for their excellent service, and to the chef and sis chef Monika for their wonderful hospitality. Thank you for a memorable experience.

The Trident Hotel sits opposite a lake with a road and promenade in front. Nice to wander along and buy souvenirs. Our room had a nice view of the lake. The staff were extremely attentive. The swimming pool was lovely. Very comfortable loungers and always some available. Star of the show was the excellent breakfast. As an English couple two weeks into our India’s trip the breakfast spread was a real treat. Bacon, eggs, sausage for husband, lovely homemade yogurt and lovely dried and fresh fruits and nuts for me. Also excellent pastries. There was lots available we didn’t try but surely the Trident had a breakfast for every culture.

Only small issue was that we like to go out for food for lunch and dinner and the area was low on choices that suited us… mid range, air conditioned restaurants with nice decor. This isn’t the Trident’s fault and the one evening meal we did eat there was lovely. But if you are looking for somewhere else we think The Rainbow is only close option. The Tridents restaurant and drink menu is a little pricey. Wasn’t crazy about bird proofing nets over pool or outside window but guess needs must.

Perfect location close to Amer Fort, front of the lake. Very cozy in Indian style hotel, rooms are clean enough, pool was good, gym is ok, and breakfast and dinners were great, having variety of Indian food as well as European. Especially I would like to mention chef Monica. She was so attentive and caring during our stay, my husband got sick, she was sending fresh required food considering his problem, even complimentary from the hotel, which was unexpected. All of the staff were kind. Laundry service was quick and affordable.

Trident Jaipur is a beautiful, cozy property right opposite to the famous Jal Mahal. In fact, we could see beautiful sunrise views over the Jal Mahal from our room's balcony (Tip: Do opt for the Lakeview room, it's totally worth it). We also celebrated our wedding anniversary at the hotel and the staff made it very special for us by decorating our room and preparing a lovely anniversary cake specially for us. In general, the entire hotel staff is very well-spoken and took great care of us! We felt homely, which is the best complement one could give about a hotel stay experience. 😊

Although the steam room is available for free for guests, the staff was reluctant in providing us with a free slot. They kind of insisted that we purchase their additional spa services. So, it was turn off for us. We also feel that their breakfast wasn't really up to the Trident level. We have stayed in other Trident properties like Trident Udaipur before, but this one was somewhat disappointing in terms for their breakfast spread. Although their staff and head chef was super nice, and gave us good service, they still need to improve the quality and variety of their breakfast menu.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were so welcoming, kind and friendly and have a genuine interest in ensuring I had the best stay possible from the friendliest welcome at check in with a lovely welcome drink, showing me to my room to coming around at breakfast time to introduce me to samples of Indian breakfast specialities. The pool area is lovely and I enjoyed relaxing here with a fresh juice. The signature massage was great and the food was delicious also. There was just that extra level of attention from the staff put into the stay that made it all the more memorable. The location was also beautiful right across the road from the Palace of the water. Sunset here was amazing. I would definitely stay if I return to Jaipur. Thanks for a fantastic stay.
