This guesthouse is a gem in this small town. Perfect for a night stop over or even a weekend away . I stayed in the Perdehoef room and it had everything suitable for a self catering stay. Decor and layout were very welcoming and modern. Great table and office chair setup if you need to get work done . Little bit cold in the room but the electric blanket solved that quickly . All queries were attended to By quickly and staff were very friendly. Only let down was the breakfast which was cold and a bit pricey, but it was nice that it’s brought to the room Will definitely stay again !

Bed frame was a bit noisy. Draw on study desk was broken and didn’t close but not major

The property was clean, neat and spacious, to ensure a delightful and comfortable stay. Its well-equipped amenities enhanced convenience. The outside area was spacious and there was ample parking for all of us (we were 3 couples staying in a 3-bedroom house).

We were very satisfied with everything, the only thing that was a little negative, is that the bed in one of the bedrooms was not very comfortable (we were 3 couples and stayed in a 3-bedroom house).

I received a WhatsApp message with all the instructions from the host giving directions, where to collect the key etc. She was also available on her phone to give clarity where it was required. The property exceeded our expectations. The heater, free wifi and backup power during load shedding was a bonus! I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Modern Farm House is like a little jewel in the middle of Lichtenburg, it conforms fully with the idea of a homely modern farmhouse. The hosts were amazing and available at all times over the festive period. The staff was excellent and the morning breakfast nothing short of magnificent. I highly recommend this property.

The unit was beautifully decorated as in the pictures, gas stove, microwave, Dstv and Netflix all available. Loved the wooden flooring as well. Cool lockbox system which made for easy check in late at night.The units are really beautiful which you wouldn't think coz the outside just looks like a normal house like others in the area. Great value for money

The shower sprayed everywhere, and sadly the main bed in the bedroom is hard and the couch will need refurbishing soon.

The service was superb, the place was very clean and beautiful.

The location should be in the bush.

Buiten vir die probleme soos genoem het ons lekker gebly. Dit was baie rustig.

Net een gasplaat het gewerk met flou vlammetjie. Die blinder in badkamer het een paneel wat af is wat seker nie so erg is nie, maar in die aand met die lig aan pla dit. Die los kopstuk by die bed.

Place was nice, clean and quiet. Plus it is a great location which seems safe. The check-in process was very smooth. The host communicated all the important details well in time.

Place was super clean but the towels (or at least one of them) had some stains. To be fair the towels had been washed but it was uncomfortable to use them in that state.

The location is great.

The breakfast was very much over priced. R250 per person, definitely not value for money and it was served one hour earlier than requested, food got all cold. Also will appreciate to have more tea bags - 1 rooibos and 1 five roses for two people are not enough.
