The guest house is in the old town center of Altamura. It is a second level house entrance with a small bar below. You enter into a common kitchen which has everything to cook a simple meal and plenty of refrigerator space. I appreciate that they have a compost and recycle bins. We were up the stairs from the kitchen in a suite that had 2 bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. The entire guest house has been recently remodeled and is tastefully decorated. It is spotless and was comfortable and in a good location in the center of town.

One night there was some noise from the music in the bar but that did end promptly when it seems a neighbor spoke to the owner and had them close the doors. The bar owners do seem to be very respectful and keep the area clean and were very friendly.

Very cosy, perfect for families, clean, super central. Easy parking nearby, very helpful and flexible host with quick answers and solutions for any requests. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Easy to reach Matera and Bari as well from Altamura, so a great spot for a 2-3 day stay. Thank you!

We have been so pampered by our host Melania and her family that it has been a wonderful trip. Melania has been so helpful prior to arrival with parking issue and all through our stay. Her flat is a jewel nested in the historical center with lots of restaurants and amazing monuments around. It is arranged with modern taste and with great care for each and every detail which make you definitely feel like home. we will definitely come back or recommend your place Melania. Beautiful clean apartment in a great location. Nicely renovated space with preservation of historical elements. The furnishings combine stylish design and practicality. Huge and comfortable bathroom is a dream come true for every traveler. Although the apartment is located just steps from the historic center, it is incredibly quiet at night. The perfect experience is enhanced by the quick and helpful communication with the hostess. I recommend this place to anyone just passing through Altamura.
