Economy rooms are small, but cozy, close to market, some groceries and city center. Easy access to the other parts of the city from "Kuršu laukums" (Curonic square). Not far from tram stop "Pētertirgus" - short walking distance. Friendly staff.

Beds can me more comfy. Some sockets are not in good location - behind the bed. Breakfast costs 15 EUR. Good quality, but seems to overpriced if you compare with hotels in Klaipeda in Lithuania where the same type breakfast costs about 7 EUR.

The staff was very nice and helpful , the room was very clean and spotless. WiFi was very good.Big TV. Free bottles of drinking water beep topped up every day, the same shampoos conditioners and shower gel.Large parking. Fridge.Lots of hungers for clothes.

I don't want to say I didn't like it,but I was missing iron,that's why I always take with me my little steamer.

I have stayed at Hotel Kolumbs several times over the last four years and it has always been a happy experience. The hotel facilities and decor have been upgraded in the last couple of years and everything is excellent. The room are comfortable and staff make every effort to be helpful. The location is fantastic, just a ten minute walk from the beach or from the center of town, also very close to the "tirgus", the lively, bazaar-like Liepaja market. The breakfast buffet is a cut above the usual with an effort made to vary foods each day.

Very convenient hotel when travelling with own car as the hotel was easy to reach and it has ample parking in the backyard. The room was also spacious and very comfortable. Both the beach and the city centre are within a short walk. Very friendly receptionist.

The rooms are equipped with the kettle but only have tea bags provided, missed the coffee :-)

I was unable to set the app for charging EV since the app did not send code to Croatian phone number, but receptionist was really helpful, and even called the owner, and charged me trough their app. Very helpful staff.

EV charger does not like Croatian phone numbers. Also, setting up app every time one reaches a new hotel is not the thing you want to do when you arrive to the hotel. Thankfully, staff was extremely helpful and resolved the issue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they allowed me to check-in after the listed times as my flight was delayed and waited to greet me with my room key. They also allowed me to leave my bag in storage the next day for no additional fee. The room was also very clean and spacious with air conditioning which many buildings in Latvia lack.

Nothing. It can be a little difficult to find late at night though.

We stayed at the room with a city view/ balcony and it was a really comfortable stay. I was especially impressed that every day the housekeeping would leave 2x bottled water, which is a really nice touch. I visit Liepāja quite often and this was one of the best places I've stayed at.

The toilet kept running after flushing. We informed the reception about it, but it did not really get fixed.

For this money, the hotel was very great, there was AC in the room, the bathroom was very spacious. The hotel is located at a great spot, you can reach both the center and the sea by foot in like 8-10 minutes.

The pillows weren't really great but it wasn't a big issue.

Hotel in the city center, everything you need is available, clean rooms, free parking place. An excellent restaurant is available on the first floor

Standard room was very small, it was very cold in the breakfast room, so the warm food was also partly cold. Breakfast was good, but not worth 15 euros.
