Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

Location close to the water. Nice room although 2 buildings away from the main one. Good breakfast. Convenient parking.

Dinner was overrated. I suppose I was expecting the hotel to be cozier than it was. I was a little annoyed that my room locked at 11am precisely while I was loading my car at 11:02am. I had to go back and forth between the reception and my room to get my jacket that I had left in the room.

Next to the sea. Lots of outside space.

located next to a large ugly grain storage depot facility. When we stayed in early August during the harvesting period double trailer truck loads of grain thundered past every few minutes delivering grain from early in morning to late in the evening.

Our top floor room had a sea and garden view. The corner room was large and the bathroom large as well. Full buffet breakfast was included in the cheap deal and was unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Little bit more maintenance of the facilities would help.

Lovely old World style hotel - and very comfortable. The staff very friendly and efficient — made me feel so welcome. The food was excellent. I had lunch, dinner and Breakfast —everything was superb — extremely well cooked and presented.

No aircon as my window opened onto a road and I had no idea, until someone walked by and saw me exiting the shower! 🤣

A breakfast to remember, served like a 3 meal course with extra dessert. Very nice and peaceful morning. The room was very nice and in separate building which made it stand out from an ordinary hotel.

The restaurant was not open on Mondays even though we were informed in advanced (by sms) that it should be. This was a mistake by Booking. com it seems but considering the good standard of the breakfast we would have loved to have a dinner at the hotel. It was quite warm in the room and it got quite noisy in the morning as we had to have the window open.

No air conditioning. Breakfast a bit limited. Large corporate group could have been given a separate breakfast location.

Beautiful setting.

Difficult to get a cab there late at night. Television didn’t work or there were no instructions on how it should work. I didn’t contact reception- I’m sure they would have been able to help me though as they were all very helpful.

The food and drinks were delicious.

The trucks from industry on the harbour were noisy and woke us up early in the morning.
