The hotel has 3 locations in Nardo and we were in the Relais il Mignano. The property is a renovated palazzo. The rooms are spacious, good air con with adequate small bathroom. It is right in the historic centre which is great location for sights, restaurants etc There was an initial problem in that we weren’t given the room we had booked. But the reception staff the next day was excellent and we were allocated a great room for our next 2 nights.

Breakfast is in Relais Monastero one of the other locations about 10 min walk away. Not a big problem but good to know. You can’t park at the hotel as it is in the historic centre in a restricted traffic zone. So you must park at least 10 min away which is a pain when arriving and leaving with your luggage. But worth it to stay in this hotel.

There are 2 buildings to this property. We stayed at the one in the old town. We had to take a short walk to get to the other property for breakfast. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. If you have a car you will need to park outside of the old town. We never had an issue finding parking. We were there over a weekend and the town square is a lot of fun. Watched a great band on the Sunday night. The staff is great. Very helpful. They gave us lots of great information about what is around the town. I would recommend this place.

Upon arrival, the host Gigi upgraded us to their other property. Relais Monastero Santa Teresa which was built in the 13th century and later converted to a monastery. What an amazing place. The decor is vintage with frescos, artwork and history all around. The staff is very professional and the rooms are immaculately clean. The location is in the historic center and once you get your bearings, central to many of the main sights in Nardo

The breakfast was basic and could use a wider selection of foods. It was adequate and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Excellent location in Nardo, great base to explore surrounding area. Bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. Staff were super friendly and gave us lots of advice for the area. Breakfast was fresh and varied (in another location about 10min walk away). No parking at property as it is in a ZTL, however we found free parking a 5min walk away everyday so no issues.

Nardo is a small easily walkable town with nice pedestrian streets and piazzas. We appreciated the location in the old town. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby.

We had to walk to the other hotel for breakfast which was a drag in the heat that starts very early.

Lovely old palazzo … charming place, the suite is marvelous with old-stone feel ☺️ - restaurant on site is either in the beautiful patio .. or on rooftop sunset terrasse 😎

No reception on site - breakfast is taken in their other address, which is within 7min walk (both sites are fabulous though!)

Great central location close to the Castle, very authentic room with own balcony and French doors overlooking the street below, spacious room, nicely decorated, a/c unit, lovely breakfast in the parent hotel 5mins walk away, lots of history all around.

Water pressure was very low, but this seems to be a common problem across the town

The room was beautiful and big. The breakfast was lovely, however it is located a short walk away in another hotel. Was not an inconvenience for us but could see it could be for others.

While our room was huge and adjoining room for the kids, the bathroom was tiny and just hard to move around. The shower was either very hot or very cold. This "issue" was brought to our attention from the staff at check in and the accommodated us by giving us access to another room to use the bathroom whenever we wanted. I thought this was nice touch.

Location

The photos were deceptive - calling it a suite, and showing a sitting room. When we arrived we were told the sitting room was communal. Not impressed. If that had been clear we would not have booked it and got an apartment instead. The breakfast was at the main property, which we knew, but it really was very basic.

Breakfast was great - best hotel breakfast in Italy so far! There is a walk to the sister hotel for breakfast but it was manageable. Staff were happy to accommodate our 3 bikes overnight. Rooms were large and comfortable.

Check in process was confusing and hard to organize (no reception at hotel location).
