The people were very friendly. Shelly was very welcoming and accommodating. While we didn't meet Kim, she had our room ready and it was very clean.

This is not about something I didn't like, but just stating fact for those who only want to stay at newer properties. This is a property that is probably 70 years old and it is clear that the owners are putting their investment dollars into the rooms where you will be sleeping Overall, my wife and I were very happy we chose to stay here over other properties in Willcox.

Miss Shelly greeted us with a smile. Offered us a couple bottles of water and told us about this great steakhouse, "The Double S". This is a quaint little roadside motel right out of the 1950's with all the modern amenities. The charge for our dog was only $10. The room and sheets were clean, beds were comfortable, and we had an actual, old-fashioned, metal room key.

The bathroom did not have a bathtub or hair dryer. The shower was small and didn't have a light.

The Patio was pretty cool. They have a covered area and a picnic table and have done some extras to make it a cool little area to hang out in. The table in the room with the sand and rocks was a nice touch. The rocker was pretty cool also.

Seemed like most of the guests were all in one area of the motel making parking a little difficult and crowded while other parts of the motel looked empty. Maybe spread out the guests more and fill in as later guests arrive. In the room the carpet was very dirty. It took away from the cuteness they are going for. The bathroom and sink area had tile and laminate. The carpet in the main room really needs a deep deep cleaning or replacement.

Driving up to Rose's motel brought back fond memories of road trips in my youth. The hotelier was friendly, welcoming and helpful with information on local attractions and offerings. I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and access to the cleanest ice machine that I have ever seen. The motel was originally built in the 1950s BUT the property, including the room and bathroom, has since been updated and was exceptionally clean. It also had all the amenities that I usually need, including good hot water flow in the shower. The wall heater is the older style where it heats the room well without the annoying blowing air. I had a restful night sleep. The location is near a large supermarket, gas station, restaurants, historic downtown, wine tasting, etc. I would definitely stay at Rose's motel again if traveling through the area.

Nothing. Yes, the train comes through as towns during this era were built near rail. But the train doesn't use its horn and I personally enjoy hearing the train. It didn't disrupt my sleep.

Rose's motel is an older, smaller roadside motel. However, it is very clean and well done, with a microwave, fridge, and good parking. It was off the I10 a couple blocks, so it was convenient, yet fairly quiet. There was a very good local Mexican restaurant a few blocks down the street which was very good! Staff was friendly and responsive.

The bed was a little hard and could use a comforter. The AC worked well, but kicked on fairly noisily throughout the night. The nozzle in shower is too low. it hit me (6') about chest high. They might want to also consider the arched curtain rods for a bit more room.

Check-in process was smooth and efficient. Staff were very helpful in making recommendations for local area businesses. The massage chair in the deluxe room was awesome! Bed was good. Lots of lighting provided. Old-school charm vs "corporate" type lodging.

As the motel is located near a busy road as well as some well-used train tracks it was a bit loud. No iron or ironing board in room.

I love this hotel! Shelly and the staff are wonderful. They make you feel welcome and care about the hotel and their guests. They have done so much to update the rooms and facilities. The location is safe and clean. I love staying here!!!

The only suggestion I would make would be to change from single use plastic shampoo bottles to dispensers. This helps cut down on costs for the hotel and eliminates single use plastic.

I stayed at Rose’s Oyo a year ago and fell in love with the hotel, the staff and the beautiful patio they have for little family BBQ’s. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to where I lay my head to sleep. I can tell you I would recommend Rose’s to ANYONE! Shelley and Scott are wonderful people so incredibly friendly and helpful. This year we came back and we stayed here for 5 nights in room 121 with the massage chair and the rooms had been upgraded and are absolutely beautiful. The massage chair was an added bonus after working all day. Came back to the room to a nice massage. To the people in previous reviews complaining about the little black bugs have you ever been to the desert during monsoon season? Well, every year in Arizona during monsoon season we have an influx of a new bug that always seem to be impossible to kill and Rose’s does their best to keep them out! I was here in August and saw maybe 5 sea beetles outside but everything else at Rose’s was immaculate. I could go on and on about how much I love this wonderful little hotel! I will definitely be staying here everytime im in the area! And will ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rose’s to anyone passing through! Thank you for the wonderful experience Shelley and Scott!

There was nothing I didn’t like

This motel is kinda of and old mom and pop type, but beyond the first look, rooms are nicely remodeled and very nice. Bed comfortable, nice size, and great value for the cost. TVs are small and cable provider with so many channels, many not available. Overall, would recommend....
