What a surprise right next door to the Cologne Bonn Airport! Incredible avantgarde hotel with a great sense of humor in its impeccable design. He heart of the hotel is the roof top where panoramic views of the airport and surroundings can be enjoyed as it is a stand alone building. The service is impeccable. The staff without any exception is friendly and helpful. Meeting rooms with coffee are available and if you have some time to kill most comfortable sofas and chairs to pass the time. And beautifully decorated with great art that can be found everywhere in the hotel. A truly memorable experience. Bravo Marriott Bonvoy for this amazing hotel.

Not much to dislike.

Super close to airport. Short ride away from the city. Staff were very welcoming, as well as the overall vibe and atmosphere of the common area. The retro-vibes airplane room decor was lovely. I especially love the metal grid on the wall for hanging necessities. Under bed and under washroom cabinet lighting was a very thoughtful touch for midnight trips to the washroom

The walls were kind of thin. Could hear someone on the floor above singing around bedtime. Would be nice if they could remind guests to be respectful of others given that

Hotel was a little hard to find (especially when tired from travel), but once I did, it was great for my needs. Check-in was easy, welcoming staff, quiet, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was great - had a lot of options for whether you are just grabbing something and running to your flight, or able to sit down and enjoy a hot meal. Will gladly stay here if I ever have the same flight connection again.

Finding the hotel was a little confusing. By the time I located the actual building, I walked toward it twice on 2 different levels of the airport before realizing there was no way to access it from that level, requiring me to double back and guess which floor I needed to be on before approaching. Extra frustrating when travel worn and toting all your bags. More clear signage (not just "hotel" but for moxy specifically) and a note about which airport level to approach from in the welcome emails would be helpful.

Great stay at Moxy, totally recommend it if you're going to the airport, as it's right in the airport, just need to cross the street. Even if you're going to Cologne, train just takes 15 minutes to the main station, so I couldn't ask for more. Room was big enough with a giant TV and verything was very clean. The welcome drinks were also appreciated. Will definitely stay here in my next trip!

The pillows were a little too high for our taste. One of the days the room service knocked quite early in the morning and we had the don't disturb sign on the door, so it was an unpleasant situation. Other than these two minor

To begin with, the hotel is in the fabulous location, 5 min away from the departures and so easy to find, just opposite the railway station. Staying at the hotel saves you some sleep if your flight is early in the morning as it was in our case. The insulation is really good, therefore, you barely hear the planes landing or taking off. The hotel is modern with a great community spirit. The room was tidy, the beds were comfortable. The automatic lighting under the bed which switches on when you go to the bathroom at night is a very thoughful idea. The bar is in operation around the clock so gratis coffee at 4am was what we needed most. This hotel is a gem and we would stay there again soon.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly . The location is excellent as you are only a few steps from Terminal 1 and the train station . Complementary drinks on arrival. The hotel room and bathroom were small, very clean, and functional. Considering how close the hotel is to the airport, it was surprisingly and welcoming quiet. We didn't dine at the hotel, so I couldn't comment on the food quality. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Cologne.

A small fridge in the room would have been a welcome addition. As we stayed for 4 nights, the room was not serviced unless we specifically requested this at the hotel reception. The number of towels placed in the bathroom for our 2 guests' stay was inadequate, and we had to request extra from housekeeping.

Friendly and helpful staff, great view from the terrace in the 5th floor where reception and bar/restaurant are located. Well equipped ironing room. Gym in the basement with plenty of equipment. Access to the room floors via elevator only with a key card. Even though located next to the airport, quiet rooms available. Rich breakfast buffet. Housekeeping service only on request.

Rooms quite small, no wardrobe. You need to hang your clothes on a rack or leave them in your suitcase. If you want gluten free bread for breakfast, they bake it(heat it up) on request which takes a while. The shower cannot be closed entirely so water spills out on the bathroom floor and against the bathroom door.

As always the hotel of this chain was amazingly great 👍 I booked it as we had very early flight and wanted to sleep a bit longer. And it was really great choice - 5 minutes to the terminal, clean and comfortable room, amazing lobby with table tennis which kept kids entertained. Also I am very thankful to the staff who helped with messed up booking (it was not visible in reservation that we are 2 adults and 2 kids) and offered another room with beds for kids without additional charges. The staff at the bar when I came in at night were awesome - great customer service overall. I felt very welcome, and the room was super cosy. I slept like a baby until I woke up for my flight. The proximity to the airport was perfect.

The only thing was that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. When I was getting ready, there seemed to be only shampoo and I had to take the hand wash by the sink to shower which wasn't ideal. I'm not too fussed about it - this could have been fixed with a quick conversation at reception but I was short of time.

This is perfectly located for anyone flying out early in the morning. It's literally opposite the entrance to Terminal 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. We liked that we could connect our phones to the TV for Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc. The facilities were good, everything worked well and there were a lot of quirky features which added to the uniqueness of this hotel. It was a nice touch getting a welcome drink after we checked in.

Not the hotel's fault, although it might be worth mentioning in the directions. If you arrive by coach, e.g. Flixbus at Terminal 2, you have to walk right past Terminal 2 around to Terminal 1 before you can see the building. The instructions assume you arrive by train and exit the station at T1. We got confused because there is also a station exit at T2 so we got a bit agitated, especially after an 8 hour bus journey!
