The lady who checked me in was very polite and even offered a handicap room because she seen how difficult it was for me to walk do to my back issues and said that the shower had a seat in it just for that. I didn’t take her up on her offer but I did really appreciate that she was very polite and willing to ask me that difficult question and she was very caring. Although I was up and left before the continental breakfast in the morning that was something I would have loved and like that she offered. I’m very pleased with her service and the cleanness of the room and property and comfort. It was so clean I could smell the clean!!! 💙🥰

Clean and comfortable room with the coziest bedding of any place I've stayed on this trip. I arrived not feeling very well after a 6 hour drive, and the cozy bed was just the ticket. Mostly quiet. There is a train track right across the road with trains going by every 4-5 hours. Very loud, but I was already awake each time, so it didn't bother me. You might want to pack earplugs if you're worried about the train noise.

The train noise might bother some people, but there's nothing the motel can do about it.

All I have to say is - upgraded bathroom! My room had a huge, modern, and beautifully tiled (not one of those plastic shells hotels often place over an old tub), walk-in shower that was bigger than the shower at my house! I appreciated the mini kitchenette, which helped with preparing my dog's food. The mini fridge was also large and spacious to hold all of my road trip snacks and drinks. And I love the dark bedding, was very comfortable. Ice machine was very close to my room. Dog potty area was convenient.

When I arrived (after the check-in time), my room was not available, despite the front desk staff giving me a key. This resulted in an awkward encounter with the cleaning crew. Not a huge deal, but a minor inconvenience after driving a LONG way. They also seem to put all of the people with dogs in a certain section, right next to each other. The walls are thin, and we could hear barking from a neighboring dog.

This place was great! My husband picked it - customer service rocked at check-in, parking close to our room was a breeze, the grounds are well-maintained. The room was SUPER clean - no complaints at all. AND, the bed & bedding were better than HOME! We will stay again the next time we are in the area - the renovations and the upkeep to this little HOTEL are amazing! Thanks for having us!

Comfortable bed; great amenities (microwave/mini refrigerator with seperate freezer); pool. Easy check-in/out. The continental breakfast includes hard boiled eggs, yogurt, mini-waffle maker, fruit, pastries, coffee, juices....Staff were all friendly and welcoming. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and couldn't have been happier to have dinner at the local HIDEAWAY, just 1 mile away in the small downtown. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a big family group with 4 children. Our rooms were next to each other, which was important. We were close to the office where we could get pool towels so we could swim and paper plates when we needed them for our pizza. We had fun in the pool. It was nice and clean. Everything was great! The beds were really comfy. The bathrooms were so clean. My family really enjoyed the breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you so much!! :)

This was wonderful! The lobby was adorable, the staff was friendly, helpful and on point with giving us a disabled unit. Our room was lavish; high beds, soft mattresses, incredible linen and a real comforter. The television had good menu options and was easily maneuvered through. The kitchenette was super convenient with a separate sink, glass top stove, tall mini fridge, microwave and a coffee/tea maker with plenty of fixings. Their shower was outstanding with dual shower heads, including a handheld. Our unit had a permanent disability seat and small rubber lip to keep water from over flowing. The place was immaculate, and they clearly take pride in offering a cut above everyone else. I like the location because you're actually in the town, not right by the freeway.

Can't really think of any negatives here. Maybe more continental breakfast options. They have a waffle maker and cereal, I believe, and some Sarah Lee style pastries. Coffee was the best part.

It was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I was traveling towing a small trailer and was able to park just across the lot from my room.

I have difficulty breathing and I travel with my dog and the pet area was not as convenient as I would have liked, requiring that I walk a fair distance from my room.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bed and linens to start. Next, walking into the continental breakfast...it was better than most brand hotels. Waffles with a topping buffet, breads, cereals, fruit and breakfast treats. The owners have done a wonderful job with this establishment. A must if looking for a place to stay in Battle Mtn!
