Very friendly staff. At first I had a room to the road (loud). I kindly asked and it was no problem to move me to another room that was very quiet and comfy. I also appreciated that they called me to let me know that the resto would be closed. They have locked storage for bicycles. Very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice room, large and spacious. Nice breakfast buffet for small extra charge (€12).

The outstanding feature of the hotel was the staff. All without exception went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size with plenty of space for cases etc. The hotel is well positioned in the centre of what is a quite small town, which doesn't have many facilities. Good open air parking adjacent to the hotel

The restaurant was somewhat 'rustic', but wholesome and as mentioned above the service was excellent. A good sized bedroom, but very small bathroom

Restaurant food was delightful and the staff in the evening were very helpful.

Although very clean, We expected a bit more for the price. There was an odd intermittent mechanical noise during the night either from the air con unit or heating system. We mentioned this to the staff the following morning and they acknowledged the complaint but did not offer any apology.

It was clean, private parking, good location.

The room was a little bit small. The hotel is across the street from church bells which ring every 15 minutes until 22.00, after then still every hour.

The location next to the church was nice.

The AC unit made a noise like a nespresso machine making a long espresso. This noise above our door in our room went off intermittently through the night.We checked in at 11pm and the attendant warned us that the ac should not be put over 25 or a noise would occur. Ok that’s fine but it was not the case. The noise happened all night long so they knew about a problem and failed to fix it. I recall the noise at 4:05am then 4:17 and 4:30am as after a night of torture I checked my phone in disbelief. Turned the ac off completely, mind you it’s August! The noise happened two more times then stopped. 5am to 8 was the only decent sleep my husband got as I sat in the tiny bathroom on my phone as to not wake him up. We had a 6 hour drive home the next day and I wanted him to rest.
