Pros - very clean, friendly staff, lots of toiletries, restaurant in lobby, and walkable to the mall (maybe the only area of Pontianak that has sidewalks + a foot bridge to cross the street to the mall). Lobby area is spacious. Located on a smaller street that is easy to walk, but you'll want to take a taxi anywhere in Pontianak bc sidewalks are rare. Easy for taxi to find.

Cons - thin towels, very loud call to prayer at 4am, lots of smoking in hallways

The room was clean. The bed was super comfortable. The service was excellent. They were very accommodating of everything I needed. It was 5 star service. They were able to store my bag while I explored before check in. The breakfast was delicious! The laundry service was quick and efficient. For the price, it delivers above and beyond.

Lots of guests smoking right outside my room's door that enters the room through the cracks on Fri / Sat nights. Otherwise, the room was perfect!

Clean, comfy. Free parking for guest. Great surroundings and deco.

Aircond was problem. However staff very helpful to get it fix, while waiting we were change to other room (smaller), but get refund on the price difference.

I loved everything about Richards Home. Super comfortable beds. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. This was my second visit to the hotel.

Small but convenient, nice staff, a good location. Meals are fine, the surroundings quiet although near the city center.

Wifi didn’t work in my room, so I had to work downstairs (at the restaurant). Breakfast was in my room at 7am daily and it was something like a spicy fried rice with seafood and black tea.. (that was a bit weird for breakfast for me)
