This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was great beautifully presented and very large. The staff were friendly and helpful. Secure parking was a bonus and my dogs were made welcome. The grounds were well kept and spacious. It is within walking distance of the very interesting medieval town. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again

The only disappointment was that we were unprepared for the restaurant to be closed. However the very helpful lady on reception booked us in at a very good local restaurant just ten minutes walk away

Lovely grounds and safe parking. A small but comfortable room. Staff were very helpful with restaurant advice.

Breakfast seemed expensive and they no longer offer dinner - which is ok but they need to update their information.

The hotel was magnificent Cleanliness was outstanding Showers and bathroom were first class The grounds and ambience were very good Breakfast was over and above expectations and set up on a beautiful terrace for us Most of all the entire staff were amazing If you could have this hotel with its staff in every town you visited you would be very happy Outstanding visit

Got stung by a wasp at breakfast- can't blame anyone but the wasp but slightly impacted on the breakfast ambience

Beautiful old house tastefully modernised . Garden and private parking. Friendly helpful staff . Good location.

Very little space to unpack , small wardrobe and no draws .

Didn’t like having to pre-order breakfast and a pity the restaurant was closed in the evening , it was limited finding somewhere to eat in the evening, probably because it was a Sunday

The location was superb for a town centre hotel, with well-maintained spacious grounds. We believe that it has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. To arrive after a 4-hour drive and find our table on their sun-drenched terrace waiting for us lifted our spirits. The following morning I felt unwell and they expressed empathy and suggested that we take advantage of the gardens and stay on as long as we wished. Well worth a diversion if you are in t that area.

The bedrooms on the roadside suffered from some late night revellers and early morning traffic.

Rooms were a little small but well equipped, service and the restaurant were all great although would grade the location and hotel overall more of a top three-star than a 4-star to be fair. Beds are comfortable and the Air-Con is good. Wouldn't have any issue with staying here again if in the area.

Rooms are a little small / tight and the location is not what we thought or expected as the hotel is located down a residential side road of a relatively large town. We thought it was a little more in the country but it wasn't an issue.
