If you’re looking for quiet getaway, surrounded by nature, and good proximity to what Rugen has to offer, I would highly recommend this place. Loved the style of accomodation-the straw roof was unique (perhap not to Rugen, but to the outsiders). Breakfast was served from 7:30, which was great as we wanted to start exploring the island as soon as possible. We enjoyed the food as well.

having to move before breakfast time, we asked for a packed breakfast. in the evening they gave us a package with sandwich, boiled egg, slice of cake, two fruits. all delicious!

The Resort is situated in middle of the nature and has good clean rooms.

The location without a car is a big hassle,so go only if you have a car.

- location is great, in the full green, very quiet - the restaurant has a very nice outdoor are, with views over a beautiful calm landscape - the estate is cute and traditional in the architecture (smaller houses with "Reetdach") - every service person was friendly

- breakfast buffet is rather „cheap“, repetitive and definitely way below a 4 star niveau (probably between a 2 and 3 star). Eg they only provide filtered coffee, there are not even fruits or cakes or bakeries other than standard bread. Theres basically no option for vegetarians or vegans, or people with any intolerance (lactose, gluten) - the room is extremely small, quite old and the layout is not functional: eg in the bathroom it‘s hard to move or dry hair (due to the very limited height of the roof), the bathroom door cannot be fully opened, lights do not illuminate half of the room, and we got a room with a window/ skylight directly over the bed which made it hard to sleep. - hairdryer was not working (stopped after 1 minute) - sauna was very small and aged. The infrared sauna was not working. In general, it‘s a quite outdated and not well cared place. That‘s pity because it has a lot of potential
