This hotel has it all! A great venue, super friendly staff who are helpful, good food and beverages (happy hour), beautiful room that is spacious, evening animation, a pool. A beautiful oasis in the Thar desert. You will pay some more money compared to other places in the area, but it really gives a new breath to further discover authentic India .

The pool offered a great refreshment, but is not heated. The hotel was rather calm in the number of guests, but you always find some special people who are having a personality. Big respect to the staff and management in always keeping calm and polite to above described guests.

Everything about this place was simply amazing. The location, service, delicious food, the ambience of the restaurant, the wide spread of breakfast items, the super clean and classy rooms, the bar library, swimming pool, vintage car collection on display, evening entertainment - puppet show, magic show and the list goes on and on. Everything was simply top notch. Our rooms upgraded to private terrace shared by our two suites (301 & 302) were simply amazing. One suite had two bathrooms in it. Sunset excursion arrangement was a perfect way to end a long travel day! It is rare to find good hotels that serve equally good quality for food. It makes the location fully self-contained. Worth considering it for a destination wedding venue.

1. No lift access to the higher floors. Heavy steps would be a severe challenge for the older and physically challenged guests. 2. The sunrise+ safari package was a rip-off. The jeep that took us for about 30 km was an open one and we were freezing to the core. Staff should have warned us to be better prepared for the weather. The only disappointment in the whole trip. That is the reason for 3 stars for Staff.

The property is amazing. Rooms are spacious and very well maintianed. The food was good. Pool area, open areas and play areas were very nice.

Staff at the resturant was very complacent in attitude. It took them more than 1 hour to bring our order for dinner. they did not ask for ice cream and outrightly refused to my friends. Then I requested them to get it againg telling them that I would report the same to the management if not provided. And finally they got us 4 Scoops of ICE Cream for 18 people

Accommodating staff. Facilities. Friendly staff. How efficient it all runs. There were many rooftop viewing areas. The room cleaning guys work really hard.

Mattress was only about 4” deep. Slept ok but didn’t like the mattress much. The hot water boiler/heater in the bathroom made irritating intermittent noises which disturbed sleep until turned the water off at night. Staff seemed to congregate outside in the court yard quite early in the day, you can hear them immediately outside.

Spent two days at the dunes part of the hotel - 8k from the fort hotel- but had bar and restaurant. Lovely hut and enjoyed the sunset, were looked after very well and would thoroughly recommend the experience. Expensive, but worth it, however 2 nights is probably the max you would want to stay there. We then went to stay at fort for one night which we found to be expensive as well but not worth it - poor value for money! big and impersonal, very beautiful setting and facilities, but petty rules. There was a grassed area outside our room near the pool and bar, which had tables and chairs on. we went 5 paces from our room to sit on chairs with drinks from our minibar, only to be told that we could not sit there unless we bought drinks from the main bar !! We were the only people there, so we’re not stopping anyone getting a seat. Rather spoilt the experience for us.

The stay was good but there were some issues.

Since there was a lot of vacant rooms, they should have asked if we prefer rooms on the ground floor because my parents found it hard to use stairs every now and then. With so many rooms vacant, they should have asked once. The food was also not upto the mark. I wish there were more options especially in the breakfast. The high tea was disappointing.

Beautiful, spacious room in the desert hut.

It was difficult to communicate with the property - I asked for clarification a few times about how to proceed/ locate the desert property but did not receive clear instructions and so my taxi dropped me off at the Fort (which is the wrong location). The food & drinks menu was slightly limited given the price of the accommodation.

Totally exceeded expectations - whole property was stunning, pool was lovely, rooms were huge, extras including the desert afternoon tea were great, and the magician & puppet acts were nice additions to the stay.

Buffet was very expensive.

An amazing hotel - true luxury palace experience! Tucked in a small town Khimsar, the property offers great breakfast. Dinner in the ruins was an unforgettable experience! The sunset at the dunes, with live tribal songs and high tea, was one of its kind!

Rajasthan's culture and heritage holds a majestic value. Stories regarding kingdoms of maharajas are fascinating to read/hear. Welcome by ITC has opened the door way for people who want to experience the royal lifestyle of Kings/Queens. My family and I made some wonderful memories at Khimsar Fort. Keep up the good work. Job well done.
