The set up of the room was great. View fantastic. Considering we were so close to the restaurant, it was very quiet. Check in and check out was a breeze. The lovely receptionist was so welcoming and took my feedback so well. Walking distance to everything.

For $300 a night, it was not very clean and I did pass this feedback on, on check out. The fans were dirty, dirty cups, dishwasher had tin foil and food in it, very dirty AC units, calcium stained shower glass that can come off it regularly maintained.

The Onslow Beach Resort was a nice stay. A perfect stopping point if you are going to the Mackerel Islands. We were not happy with the location of our room close to the bar area, the reception moved us with no trouble to a upstairs room away from the bar.

We were having a week there after being in the National Parks in Pilbara. I had been to Onslow twenty five years ago and with Wheatstone project and other mining ventures I thought the Area/Town would have changed. But I think it was nicer before. Perfect town if you have a boat, land tourist things are limited. Beaches are more suited to four wheel driving. Onslow Ruins surely, they could clear the areas were the buildings were situated before the town relocated. No effort to make it more tourist friendly. The museum in town was a highlight.

Big room with comfy bed and decent shower. Big bonus was a washing machine and tumble dryer in the bathroom. Fantastic to get my laundry up to date - and unexpected. Pool was pleasant temperature. Had a lively bar and restaurant. Beach was only yards from the hotel and the walk along the shore was pleasant - just wished I had remembered by fly net.

It's always such a shame that hotels built by the ocean don't have all the rooms facing the sea. We had no ocean view - just a view of the street - I don't think many face the sea.

I stayed in a Beach View Suite last night. Amazing! Myself and my family are travelling to Broome and back and our stay in Onslow was one of the best that we have stayed in along our journey! Loved the facilities, loved the amenities, loved the food and drink service and quality of the Resort itself. And the view - wow! I also appreciated the tea, coffee and hot chocolate choices. Couch was comfy as was the bed. Very very comfortable accommodation - I would highly recommended staying at Onslow Beach Resort. Wish I had’ve stayed longer. Thank you.

The room was well equipped, spacious, modern and bright. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Drinks and food were very tasty. The staff at the reception and at the bar/restaurant was friendly and helpful.

We would have liked to stay longer, but the room rates were almost doubled after one night because of the solar eclipse. After all, the hotel was not overbooked. In our opinion, it would have been more economical to sell the rooms at normal prices and guests like us would have stayed longer. At least, we came back every day for drinks and food...

Great location and the rooms are very well equipped for a short or long stay.

The breakfast at the restaurant was below average and took over an hour to come out. Yes I was busy however it would have been great to be advise when ordering that it was a long wait time. That being said coffee was great.

The layout was great with little ones. Loved the washer & dryer. Smart tv and kitchenette was all modern and handy with little kids. Loved the restaurant with live music on a Friday night. Great little spot for an over nighter.

Couldn’t fault anything

Stayed three nights in very comfortable ground floor apartment overlooking the water. Staff were excellent, very friendly and the Beach Club (restaurant) was a great place to dine with a cold drink on the terrace. Located directly on the beachfront but in the heart of town it was a convenient walking distance to everything. Loved the excellent Wifi.

Loved our waterfront apartment. So lovely to go to sleep with the sound of the sea lapping on the shore and perfect spot to view the Staircase to the Moon! Very well appointed with everything you need for an extended stay. Very good layout and design. The onsite restaurant is excellent (fantastic cocktails!)

A clothes airer would be great for drying clothes and swimmers without using the dryer.

Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and the view is simply breathtaking. Breakfast menu was great. I suggest that anyone who books a room should include breakfast.

Restaurant staff were average. After reserving a table outside, they booked me inside. Then they gave me someone else's breakfast, and to top it off, at dinner, I ordered a glass of wine and the staff managed to fill the glass below the designated line. I was not impressed. Although these are little things, they make or break an experience.
