My stay at Kachong Hills Tented Resort is easily one of the best holidays I've had. The hotel is done up so tastefully and the service was also fantastic - all of the staff were extremely personable and thoughtful - I felt extremely taken care of. I stayed in the marquee tent as well as the double room (with mountain view) - completely different experiences but fantastic all the same. The visit to the waterfalls next door (in the Botanic Gardens) is also a must. There isn't much to do in the area but it doesn't matter: this is a perfect place to just unwind, recharge and enjoy the peace and quiet. I wish I could stay longer. I will definitely be back. PS: I travelled solo but felt very safe!

If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is a great choice. It’s a bit far from town, but the peaceful and beautiful surroundings make it really worth it. The staff are very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The view is amazing, with forests all around that make you feel calm and refreshed. The food was another highlight — it was really tasty, and we truly enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant. The staff worked hard to make sure we were well taken care of, and the prices were fair. The villa room was big and perfect for families. One sweet moment we’ll remember is when they gave us welcome and goodbye drinks. We told the receptionist we didn’t need them, but she still brought them to us at the car park with a big smile. That thoughtful gesture touched our hearts and made us want to come back again soon.

Myself and my son were on a vacation starting in Phillipines.. onto Malaysia and finishing off in Thailand. We arrived in Phuket staying one night.. the following morning we drove to Krabi staying 3 nights and then we continued our journey to Trang. We booked 2 nights at Kachonghills. As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the entrance and reception area.. such exquisite design with elegant and stunning furnishings. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, offering us a welcome drink. We were given a free upgrade. The reception staff helped take our luggage to our room. They showed us how to operate the doors and blinds etc. The room had a warm and cosy feel to it.. equipped with everything and more that you would need for a comfortable stay. We had a walk around the grounds which are very well maintained. We followed the pathway which led us to a lovely river with stunning views of the mountains. Later we went to the restaurant and ordered a few different dishes to try. The food.. the flavours.. the freshness.. the portion size were absolutely amazing.. compliments to the chef. The waitresses were so tentative ensuring we enjoyed our dining experience and we certainly did. My son is an Explorer and loves looking for wildlife at night. Mik was genuinely concerned about my sons safety and sent one of his staff to escort him whilst he explored the grounds and surrounding areas ❤️ The following morning we went for breakfast and WOW!! What a buffet experience that was! I especially liked the chargrill bowl to toast bread and croissants. You could had the option to order a freshly hot made western or Thai breakfast along side the buffet. The buffet consisted of so many different fresh fruits and vegetables. We headed back to our room where we encountered an issue with the air-conditioning. I called reception to report the issue and within 5 mins staff appeared and tried their very best to resolve the issue however the aircon couldn't be fixed.

Stunning views, amazing staff and delicious food - incredible breakfast. The place is a designer hidden gem with incredible people running the business. Our 2.5 years old daughter was so wonderfully treated, she loved the place, the animals around, she could even play the ball and paint with the receptionists. We had chance to get to know the owner who showed us an amazing playground for children. The last but not the least the staff helped me quickly to solve some problems related to rented motorbike (from different company), for what I’m super grateful.

What a special anniversary at Kachong Hills! We were thrilled with an upgrade to the Mountain View Deluxe room, beautifully adorned for our special occasion. The staff were really helpful and really went the extra mile, (special shout out to Ms.Jenny) even helping us book a dinner reservation in town for our anniversary. Our room had the most amazing views of the mountains and all the comforts we could ask for. It was the perfect setting for our celebration. We can't thank the staff enough for their warmth and thoughtfulness. Kachong Hills holds a special place in our hearts now, and we can't wait to come back for more special occasions.

Liked everything about the property. The staff on arrival were amazing and continued to be great throughout our stay. Special thanks to Jenny and Mam. We booked a basic tent but were given an option to upgrade to an explorer tent for a very small fee and we were not disappointed. The view was spectacular and the room had everything one would need. Our children loved the free roaming sheep to stroke and the horse and cats. Lovely stream to play in. The food at the restaurant was better then any restaurant we have eaten at in Phuket and we have lived there for 11 years. The children had an amazing time playing with others children around the fire at night whilst roasting marshmallows. They said it was the best place they’ve ever been. We explored waterfalls and cliffs near by.

We stayed just one night at Kachong Hills Tented Resort while attending a friend’s wedding nearby, and it turned out to be one of the best rental experiences we’ve had in a long time. The place itself is beautiful and very comfortable, but what really stood out was the staff — incredibly polite, helpful, and genuinely kind. Their service made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return if we’re ever back in the area!

Hidden Gem near Trang town. Initially was not expecting much but realised that its was a great catch. Good option to stop on the way to Krabi or Phuket. Service by all staff is impeccable and sincere. Nice place to just relax and spend time in the nature. We really enjoyed the trip to the waterfall area and the staff were so kind to pack our afternoon tea snacks and bought it along to the waterfall area. Special shoutout to Ms. Jenny, hospitality from her is top notch.. will be back again soon to tryout other rooms.

Well we wanted a jungle experience and got it. Torrential rain at night . Jungle animal noises. We stayed in a pole house style room . It was beautiful with a huge balcony up high to watch life go by. Came with free sparkling wine, a 500 bht dinner credit,and free waterfalls national park entry. These falls were spectacular at the highest end. Staff were super smiley and helpful. Beautiful grounds to walk around.

Only criticism is they had no monkeys …..but they had 3 sheep that loved people to make up for it.

Clean, comfortable, friendly

During breakfast they did not top up the local delicacies on the buffet table. I arrived at the restaurant at 0830 but the local delicacies have already finished. I asked the staff to top up the food but they said already finished. Perhaps the management can look into this. The breakfast time is from 7 am to 11 am. They should make sure there are enough food for all guests
