The managers were very good in contacting me to organise late check in. The had the air con running to warm the room and light on ready for us. That was very nice and appreciated. Room was very well presented, clean and bright. Good security with a key code gate. We felt safe in a town that we had heard some not great feedback. Petrol station was across the road so it was handy.

The motel is very old and run down externally. Needs some TLC but the room was very comfortable and manager service was great. Price for room was high considering the actual motel doesn't present well visually. It's just like an 80s brick interior style of room but perfectly acceptable for our purpose.

The room had everything I needed. A microwave, warm shower, a/c, warm comfortable bed and a working fridge. Owners were very accommodating and left keys out for me and turned room heat on so I had a warm space to arrive to. After a 12 hour drive it was a fantastic stop. Not fancy but all you need

Check -in was smooth and efficient The motel was conveniently located with amenities and the town centre an easy stroll away. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The property was secure.

The property is adjacent to the highway. Light sleepers may notice truck noise at night.

It was quite basic but good as it is a small country town. Comfortable bedding , really nice friendly helpful staff. We had an exec room so not possible to put us closer to our sons in the second room. Outlook from the doorway was quite a mess but not sure if that area belongs to the motel.

Info for early exit key drop. We didn’t know whatbwe were meant to do but it wasn’t a big issue - left tge key in our room and sent a text to the office e mobile to let them know. They sent a nice reply which we appreciated. Nothing to really dislike on our stay at all.

First time staying at this property in my old hometown. We were allowed in to our room 1.5hrs early to freshen up and leave our luggage. Cannot fault the staff or our room. So wonderful to see new owners/management continuing to provide great service to visitors of the Bourke community

Room was big clean and comfortable. Great water pressure and shower. Secure lock up parking at night.

Sofa & curtains could do with updating but otherwise we could not fault our stay. We love staying at Darling River motel

Our daughter locked the toilet from inside out , but owner helped us immediately even after hours, this place had nice bed and secure and safe at nights , gates were locked , easy to go to town

Good value for money

Everything you need - warm, comfortable, clean and quiet with knives and forks, very small plates, mugs - tea and coffee making but no spoons. Get your water from bathroom sink and wash up there using bathroom towel to dry - not ideal but everything else very good. We had delux room - very spacious, nice and comfortable. Worth the extra price I think.
