Stenbjerg is located in the middle of Thy national park and as such it's a perfect starting point for hiking and trips in the surrounding nature. I have to highlight the restaurant of Kro & Badehotel, all the dishes we had were really delicious. The staff is welcoming, and friendly and can give you recommendations on how to spend your stay at the hotel. We've enjoyed our stay and will be happy to stay at Kro & Badehotel again.

We missed a wardrobe in the room.

Nice quite rural location near Thy National Park. Relaxed feel and welcoming staff and manager. Nice local food. Had the two course National Park menu and the breakfast buffet. Both very good. Good location to explore walking trails and the coast. Had a rental car so location was not an issue.

We loved cabin number 4. Easy to find. A lovely warm welcome and all the information was clear. We had a fantastic meal overlooking a paddock of active horses, in a very convivial atmosphere. Breakfast was equally very carefully prepared and presented and plentiful.

Not too many people there at this time of year, but no problem at all for us.

Good bed, nice shower, quiet. Nice area outside to sit. Good breakfast, it’s definitely worth booking it.

The shower isn’t in a separate room. There was no extra towel available to stand on after showering (only 3 towels).

First of all, very nice service, great breakfast / additionally payable, but really worth it /. Free parking. Out of season, peace and quiet :) The price is quite high for the standard, but really friendly staff and we can safely recommend this place.

This was our 5th hotel in Denmark and by far the standard / price point is a bit too expensive. Cleanliness in the bathroom is not completely perfect, but ok

We were a bit puzzled to discover that strict 18th Century boarding school like dinner, where guests had no choice but to all appear at the very same time, earting together in a very tense athmosphere in a small room….not really covid-friendly to do that and very stressfull if you come as bike tourists if you learn after a 90km stage that you are not allowed time to change and have to immediately join the other boarding school classmates to immediately eat 😅🙃 The food was good, surprisingly good, but communication had helped (e.g. telling the waiting people that no desert is coming - not that one needed one, but knowing if it is polite to wait or if the dinner is done had helped saving 30-40min of time).
