A bit dated, but luxurious nonetheless! Huge rooms for Japan. Western-style interior. In a small, sleepy town, halfway between Kyoto and Tokyo, right next to the shinkansen line. Nice and chill vibes, very local, but some tourist attractions nonetheless. It was refreshing not to have hordes of tourists all around you. Service was impeccable. Checkout time (11 AM) was later than at other hotels in Japan. Complimentary tea was so fragrant (wouldn't expect anything less from the tea-growing region of Japan). Very reasonable rates.

Spacious room, very clean, excellent staff, fantastic location, restaurants on site.

I couldn't control the modes on my AC. It was a bit too warm in my room and all I could control was the air flow for the AC which was permanently set in heating mode. As a result I had to open the window to cool the room down.

The location was great. it's in front of the station. the room was spacious.

the room was dusty. the furniture was aged. The hotel is not offered cleaning service and coin laundry location was not pleasant.

The hotel is a bit outdated. The laundry service does not include socks and underpants. There is no closet in the bedroom. Instead, behind the supposed closet doors is a refrigerator that had to be turned off as it generated heat and noise

The breakfast was fine with plenty of choice and the location of the hotel was very handy to the train station

the hotel is an excellent choice for the Kakegawa tea region. It’s close to the Shinkansen train station, we rented 2 bikes for cycling through tea fields and when we forgot something they even sent it to us to Tokyo! Very friendly staff!

we like the bed and how the place is clean and spacious. We also love the buffet breakfast, that was delicious!!!

We didn’t like the part that their is no aircon inside the room, and you cannot adjust the temperature.

The location was great, close to the station. Room seemed clean. Staff was nice.

The beds were a bit hard. Wish there was a more casual restaurant/cafe in hotel.

The staff were great and the hotel is really nice. The restaurants look amazing and the hotel rooms are nice and clean.

The bed was as hard as a rock. I barely slept at all.
