The hosts were wonderful - couldn’t do enough to help us and were very friendly. The view was amazing and was round the corner from another great attraction which made our stay a lot more enjoyable. The room was perfect (we both had such a good night’s sleep) - it was super clean and decorated well! Breakfast was THE BEST - the hosts made sure we had a lovely spread of food that was tailored to our taste and timeframe (honestly some of the best breakfast we have had)!! One of our favourite things about the place was the animals there, there were two dogs and five cats all of whom were friendly, though we did fall in love with one cat in particular. Can’t recommend this place and its hosts enough!! We will definitely be back soon!!!! Thank you so much :-D

It was a heartwarming stay at Chante Brise. As a person who travels a lot and rarely visits home, I would only describe my stay as a homecoming experience. I was not a tourist there; I was treated as a welcomed guest. I received a lot of helpful information, insightful details about the city, and recommendations about the best restaurants or hiking spots. And then there's breakfast, which I would recommend you try. It’s a full course of different delicious dishes and desserts. Be careful, you will not need lunch afterward. The view from Chante Brise is breathtaking. You can see the whole city, the sea, and famous rock formations! Imagine having a delicious breakfast with a sight like that. The house had everything you need: a kitchen with the possibility to cook, two comfy beds, and a couch with a TV. It was a truly remarkable experience!

As other reviewers have noted, the host, Turia is friendly and welcoming and prepares a delicious and bountiful breakfast. The B&B sits above the town and has a wonderful view of the famous Etretat cliffs. Turia knows the area very well and is happy to provide information and suggestions. We enjoyed everything about our stay here and would love to stay again.

It is a steep 10 minute walk into town down 200+ steps. Parking in the town is difficult, so walking is preferable but if you have mobility problems (which we do a bit) the walk back after dinner can be daunting, although easier if you take the longer option by road.

We had a wonderful stay at Chante Brise. The owner (Touria) was kind, exceedingly friendly, patient with my weak French-speaking skills, and she speaks English with enough proficiency that communicating wasn’t a problem. (Her very helpful and friendly groundskeeper Isabella also speaks English.) Touria’s dogs are sweet and friendly, as are the resident cats. We were fed fantastic, authentic, and delicious meals for breakfast that were so generous it made eating lunch essentially unnecessary. She offered to make fresh-squeezed orange juice for me since I don’t drink coffee, which was a treat. She gave us a wealth of information about Etretat and the surrounding Normandy Coast area, and provided us with helpful suggestions about places we might like to visit during our stay. The place itself is small and rustic but well maintained and it features wonderful views and easy access to the highlands above the town. If we have the opportunity to return to Etretat, we certainly want to stay at Chante Brise again.

The location is magnificent, on top of a beach cliff, allowing for quiet time and beautiful views over Etretat and the coast. The house and garden are beautiful and equipped with everything you need. But first and most of all, the host, madame Touria, is incredibly generous and welcoming. She offers guidance and touristic tips for the whole region, she's a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. The breakfast is something you've never experienced before: a 4-5 course meal prepared by Madame Touria herself every morning, combining ingredients, flavors, tastes and colours like no one else!

The place is absolutely incredible. The accommodation is stylish and cosy. The view from the terrace is unrepeatable. Although on the hill with a beautiful view, it is five minutes walk from the city centre. The family who rents the property is super-nice. And last but not least, the culinary magic that ends on your plate during breakfast is something we were not ready for. So lovely. We wish we could stay longer and if we ever come back to Etrétat, there is no way to choose a different place to stay.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, they even brought out a cute crib to the room for our infant to sleep in. The location is impossible to beat, the views are amazing. It overlooks the bay, in the pines, it's an absolute delight. The breakfast/brunch was a feast and so delicious, definitely a highlight. The fact that we could park a car was super convenient for us.

The bed in the room was not comfortable. The bedframe was missing a leg which made sleeping difficult. The beds need an upgrade for this place to be a 10.

The view from the garden here was exceptional. So was the breakfast. The host takes great pride in serving something different every morning, which, as a former restaurant chef, she does very well. With that fabulous view in front of us, we enjoyed the relaxed breakfast hour immensely. The room and bed were comfortable, and it opened straight onto the quite magical garden. We were given some excellent recommendations for eating out in the evening, too.

If you are in a hurry to leave early, make it clearly known. We weren't, and breakfast was an enjoyable part of the Etretat experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Chante Brise exceptionally. Touria treated us like family, and was very attentive to anything we needed. Etretat is a must -see village and the location of and views from Chante Brise were superb. The B&B is very close to the famous Etretat Gardens, you can walk there. Breakfast was a delicious treat and always a surprise! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return!

I had an excellent stay with my partner. We stayed for two nights and loved everything about this place. It has character, and the views from the property are breathtaking! Touria is so welcoming. She made special arrangements upon my request. I felt at home and taken care of. The breakfast is innovative and delicious and plenty. And with a view as well! This place turned out to be much better than I expected. And I cannot think of any other place to stay in Etretat
