The facility at Imperial Beach Hotel is lovely and well maintained. The pool and beach areas are beautiful, and everything you could ask for is available. However, what really sets Imperial apart from other hotels is their outstanding staff. Every single person I encountered, from housekeepers to front desk, was more than pleasant and helpful. The owner and his daughter are present at all times, and they clearly put the emphasis of guest satisfaction. Every person on staff goes out of their way to make sure that guests feel at home. Their sweet dog, Cookie, adds to the feeling of visiting a friend or family member. Andria, at the front desk, was so helpful with my questions and requests, and since my Italian is still weak, her ability to speak English was very helpful! I cannot wait to return to this beautiful piece of heaven!

The entire staff, from reception to cleaning and breakfast service, is extremely helpful. The hotel provides a family-friendly atmosphere, conveniently located near the beach. Breakfast is very yummy. Free bikes to drive around.

As mentionned when you book, you have to pay extra for chairs and umbrellas at the hotel's beach, but I noticed this is common practice along the coastline.

Nothing not to like about the value for money stay

Everything perfect for us. Our ferry from Greece was late but a meal was quickly produced. So pleased to have found this hotel. Will certainly return.

Looked for the name Unaway rather than "Imperial Beach" so drove past then a little lost with the one way system.

Simple but well appointed for children, right on the pedestrian road in front of the beach, close to restaurants and a gelateria is next door. The bikes with kids seats are great for exploring. Our kids also loved the pool and kids club. Breakfast was good with relaxing outdoor seating option. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful.

Hotel at the beach, nice private parking, super friendly staff, nice and recently renovated rooms, great dinner with good and reasonably priced wines, perfect breakfast. We certainly will come back.

Google maps tries to direct you through the ZTL zone in order to park, but the hotel's parking is available directly from the road.

Lovely warm welcome, everyone really friendly and helpful. Was only a one night stop over for us but would have happily stayed for longer. Excellent breakfast.
