I've stayed in a number of APA hotels so I was really glad that there's an APA Hotel in Ogaki. PRICE: I'm glad there was an APA Hotel in Ogaki because the price difference between the Ogaki and Nagoya branches were significant. Even though I had to take the train from Ogaki to Nagoya, it was no hassle at all. LOCATION: The hotel is right by the station. There are a number of restaurants nearby. Ogaki Castle is within walking distance. ROOM: The room where I stayed was the typical size of an APA room. It was good enough for one person. I've stayed in other APA Hotels and this was kind of similar to the other branches. There is no proper closet so please be aware of this especially if you have plenty of stuff. MATTRESS: The bed was quite firm. It's perfect for me because I like this kind of bed. ROOM AMENITIES: In addition to the usual amenities, I liked it that there were power outlets at the bed headboard. There was also a paper crane origami which I thought was really kind and thoughtful. STAFF: The staff at the reception when I checked in were very helpful. They were friendly and smiled a lot. VIEW: The room where I stayed in had a view of the train tracks, which I enjoyed. A panoramic view of the town could also be seen from the room. ONSEN: This is the BEST thing about this hotel branch. I loved the onsen at the top floor. Taking a bath after a long day was the perfect way to end the day.

It's not a complaint. これはクレーム・文句ではないです。ただの情報です。Since the hotel is next to the station, you can sometimes hear the trains arriving/departing.

I liked a lot the location, very close to the station so easy to move to cities around like Gifu.

- The breakfast was good but I missed more variety of food (specially western) but is not too bad since that is very common in Japan to be honest so I enjoyed it anyway. - There is an Open Bath but requires to cover your tattoo (in the reception desk they give you free cover stickers). Is a little annoying but is something usual in Japan so you need to accept it. In the end, is something you need to be aware that may happen to you so it isn’t a big deal for me. - Like all APA Hotels, the rooms are small but very efficient. To some travelers this could be a little annoying but in my opinion is big enough to use it comfortably.

Excellent location - right in front of the central station. Smooth check-in and check-out. Very good breakfast. The room was clean and well-furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. I really liked that there were many lights in the room - this made the room bright and positive. There is also a spa/ big common bath.

I wish the spa/ big common bath was a little cleaner and bigger. The sauna could fit only 2 people and the open-air bath could only fit 1, maximum 2 people.

Excessively tiny room, but pleasant and well appointed, with excellent lighting and quality bed + comforter. All OK.

Unsollicted welcome screen (on TV) upon entering the room with porn. Ogaki itself is a bit of a dump.

The hotel is literally next to Ogaki Station. There is a good variety of restaurants and shops in the station and nearby. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and came with many amenities! My favorite part was the bed--it was roomy and comfortable!

The bathroom was roomy, but the space between the side of the bed and desk was very narrow. I expected it to be a small room, but I always hope for more space ;) The strangest thing was the door to the room--the way the door opened was awkward and a tight squeeze because of the bathroom wall/corner being right at the edge of the door as it is opened.

I think the property is classic, staff were so nice and spoke good English. The Spa was awesome 👌.

the room I chose wasn’t enough to accommodate me and my partner,I think that room fits less than two…Me and my partner couldn’t feel comfortable in the room with our travel bags but we had to manage because I loved the property .
