It was incredibly clean and the room was a great size for a family of four. The location was perfect for us as we were on a roadtrip, and it was cozy given the TV, fridge, and cabinet spacing.

We don’t have much we disliked, except some bits of the room that were rundown or so old they squeaked when moved. We were aware this is a historical site though, so we’re not too bothered

Splendid location beside seaside promenade and park, gorgeous views, lovely building, seaside restaurant terrace and very quiet.

The hallway carpets need to be changed, too worn and stained. Please put real milk and cream in the room fridge. No reason for a hotel of this calibre to only offer some strange type of powdered "coffee whitener", whatever that is.

Terrific location on St Lawrence and only 5 minutes from Matane ferry. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The bar bistro in hotel can be a very busy place. As a result the hotel parking lot got filled and we had to park off property for several hours until the lot emptied. Paying guests should be guaranteed a spot in lot and not have to search for street parking.

I booked a sea view and I had unfortunately a view on the renovation of the road under the hotel. The sea vie was destroy by that. Very noisy in the morning during week days due to the construction near by the hotel. Except that it was perfect.

I loved how it looked both on the outside and inside. I think it is a gorgeous place and we loved our rooms, initially we were in for 1 night and ended staying 2. I will definitely be back.

Parking at busy times can be challenging.

It's a great hotel in a very scenic location. The hotel has electric plugs at multiple parking locations and a free fast EV charger at one of them as well. The room we stayed in had a great view, and the restaurant that's a part of the hotel had an excellent patio that they are renovating with a modern glass barrier, replacing the dated metal one for an even better scenic look.

The AC was blowing air directly on the bed. It is possible to adjust the direction of the air flow, but only for about an hour. It seems like it resets back to its original "blow in your face" setting after that. It's also not possible to reduce the amount of air the AC blows to a lower setting.

Location was great. Service at the front desk was great. Rooms are very nice and well maintained and very clean. Building is architecturally beautiful and historic. Grounds are well kept. Views of the lake and surrounds are very good.

Bags of laundry blocking emergency exit and stairs. Not a fan of the type of art on the walls but this is very subjective. Restaurant was not able to handle being at full capacity, very long waits to be seated or served drinks or meals. Saw many dishes being returned.

The restaurant patio was great with good food and an amazing view. Restaurant staff were friendly and helped with translation of menu items to English.

Hotel reception staff were not friendly which was disappointing. Check in and out was easy but would have been better with nicer attendants. There was a live concert in the adjacent park which was annoying as you could hear the music in the room and at the restaurant where it competed with the restaurant bar music. Thankfully the concert stopped at 11 pm though.

Beautiful location great staff and wonderful ambiance at the bistro and good food, hotel hallways definitely has a old charm makes it feel nice

the property, although old had very modern rooms! it was very clean and spacious. staff were very kind and welcoming.
