Location, Room was very Clean. Lovely View from the Room. I was on the 25th Floor. Although the Staff couldn't speak English , they were quite helpful with the Translaters. But then, I don't think Guiyang is a place for Tourists.

It is a shame that Novotel is a company that is well known all over the world & yet no one could speak English. OH. Hold On. A young woman called me about the maid wanting to fix my room & she spoke English to me & yet still, whoever she was, did not speak English to me while at the front desk.

I am usually satisfied with Novotel, but we got upgraded to a suite and our stay became even greater. Very comfortable room with a small living room, a separate bedroom and a great modern and well designed bathroom. We had all of the necessary amenities, the staff was really kind and the breakfast was really good too. The hotel location is central and conveniant. The gym was surpisingly really spacious and well equiped !

Very good location and near new rooms.

Internet was unusably slow (likely a China issue rather than a Novotel issue, but others managed to do better). Zero English spoken by staff which is not what I would expect from an international hotel. It would be beneficial to have an interpreter on the phone or similar for these sorts of events when they occur (which I grant, is not frequent in Guiyang).

Central location in the old city center, nice room for great price/quality and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous room, great size and very elegantly styled. Super big and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom, great shower.

Unfortunately the next morning we woke up to a major power cut in the whole area, so felt a little stranded on 22nd floor with no electricity at all, no lifts, no lights (not even any emergency lighting!) It took a few calls to our tour guide who then contacted the manager who then sent a staff member up to guide us down the right emergency staircase to breakfast which incidentally, the hotel managed to do really well!
