The location is fungistatic.You don't have to take a whole side road to get there because it's on the edge of the Gaspe coastal road. A dreamy view that made you forget about everything. A very nice welcome from the very polite and well-mannered motel manager. Go behind the motel on the beach. Once sunrise and once sunset. Don't miss the sunset scene. I'll go back there again and this time I'll stay longer. I just told the manager there to bring proper sheets. The room was cold and we couldn't turn on the heating system.

Interesting that although I prefer quiet rooms, because of the location of our room, I deliberately opened the window at night so I could hear the waves and the water. I love that sound! Lawson, the son of the owner, was fabulous! Friendly, accommodating and personable he suggested a great restaurant to us.

Like so many accommodations now, a phone number is left for initial contact on arrival …. And we have no cell phone. I realize that is our issue though….

James was extremely helpful in booking the hotel. His English was perfect. It was great that we were able to communicate with him and he was able to get us connected to people in town that we knew from 50 years ago. Great connecting with old friends. We also had dinner and breakfast at the motel which was perfect. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more.

The owner is a very nice person. We were at the end of the season, so the restaurant was closed, but that's OK, we understand. Host recommended Cantine near, which had excellent fish and chips. We also like marine life visible from the shore in the back of the motel (which was something we didn't expect)

The place is fantastic. We had planned to go to Forillon Parc but it was so good there that we gave up. We enjoyed the view while we had a snack prepared with a lobster bought in a nearby market. The children loved playing on the rocks. The service was excellent. Very kind and pleasant. The room (number 5) was spacious, clean, with good bedding and a beautiful view from the window. We simply loved this place!

It wasn’t uncomfortable for us, but there is no air conditioning.

This was a real gem: rooms with a cool retro vibe AND a view of the river. Lovely warm welcoming staff, nice food. It was delightful!

Not very soundproof; but expect this in vintage digs.

Love the host James was fantastic. He provided us with a list of places to visit and he was very accommodating. The views from our bedrooms windows spectacular. I just wish we would have the time to do a fire by the beach.

I'm a big guy so the toilet were a bit small for my big frame. An elevate and elongated toilet would have been so much better. The shower head were also a bit too low.

Clean, great location, good stuff, restaurant on site.
