The hotel is great, reception and restaurant staff very helpful and everything is really convenient and good value for money. Breakfast is great although I'd change sweet orange and apple drinks to 100% juice, but there was a fresh strawberry cocktail that made up for it :).

No juice available for breakfast (only artificial sweet drinks) and quite thin walls. The drinks are very surprising because both breakfast and restaurant menu was amazing, healthy, modern and delicious.

Very nice and clean room. The bed was comfortable. In my opinion the hotel could be rated 4 stars.

The hotel is located between the old and the new centre of Mielno, near the old train station (which seemed to be entirely out of function, at least at winter time) and not too far away from a shopping mall, with a supermarket, a drugstore and a newspaper kiosk. The hotel itself gave a contradictory impression to me: on the one hand, it offered first-class services, on the other hand it had flaws. Excellent was the spa service, with very skilled therapists (such as Paulina) and the most advanced technology (such as magnet or laser therapy devices which must have cost a fortune), and the menu in the restaurant offering solid and somewhat stylish Polish cuisine and a number of formidable desserts. Staff including the therapist was very friendly and spoke rather well English or German, except the young man in the restaurant who seemed to be somewhat proud of not being able to speak any other language than Polish which was reflected in his different behaviour towards Polish-speaking and non-Polish-speaking guests. The building itself seems to be a remnant from socialist times, with upgrades in the early 1990s (as the entire interior equipment and the somewhat dated bathroom of my room made evident) and the 2010s (as the very good bed or the nice furniture of my room demonstrated); WLAN worked very well. However, the general heating in my room broke down on one of the coldest days of the year (to which I finally alerted the chief manager who promised to look after it) and it took several hours to bring it back. Besides the spa services and the restaurant, the best of this hotel is the indoor swimming pool, with somewhat dated but convenient and very well working facilities.

There were a number of issues I found bothersome: first, there was not at all any cleaning or rubbish disposal service for my room during the 4 days of my stay; generally, room service for vacated rooms was operated between 6 and 8 pm (and was very noisy due to the paper-thin doors and walls); and there was no hygienic scheme in force related to the corona virus at the breakfast buffet: each buffet food plate had only one spoon used by anyone including staff and guests (who both did not care to wear face masks or gloves); and the hotel has just two floors but no lifts, which makes it somewhat inconvenient for guests who cannot walk up rather long stairs.

Breakfast standard, ok choice and ok quality nothing amazing but a good staple.

Very thin walls in the room, you can hear what people talk about or watch on TV, very uncomfortable during night as we couldn't sleep, to use sauna you need to pay extra in SPA hotel.

Only the SPA services,that by the way you have to pay on request (massage, sauna).

The hotel offers a (Max) 2 star service, but you pay for 3/4 stars hotel. The outside places (for instance the hall) does look like a 3 stars, but as soon as you visit the room, this is actually a very bad condition service. First of all, they fake the photos they show on Booking and the fact they don’t show bathrooms’ pictures is because the bathrooms are not of 3 stars hotels: they’re old, visibly never renovated, broken toilet bin and bad cleaning of the shower. I’ve always stayed in 3 stars hotel all over the world and I have never seen something like this. We have payed over 100€ per night for a room’s value of less than half of it. (I have payed less in Rome, in front of Fontana Di Trevi: here you pay more and you are basically in front of a station of a small village). When we have arrived, they tried to give us a small room with 2 separated beds (although our booking was for a king size bed). They asked us to accept to just put the beds together… we refused after having seen the conditions of the small room. So we refused asking for what we have payed. They gave us another bigger room, after saying they didn’t have any other room available…! By the way, the new room was exactly the same, but bigger. In the rooms, you can find a very old moquette, OLD furnitures (not classic style like they call it), dirty curtains, smell of old things around, dirty bed headboard, old shower and dripping fan in the toilet after or during raining, no plugs next to the night stands. We had 2 rainy days and in the evening we found the toilet full of water on the floor. We had to dry and when we informed the reception, they just said “thanks for informing, we will send a technique”. Who knows if someone has never passed by because actually the night after it started dripping again. We expected at least the receptionist saying “sorry for that”, but nothing. No empathy, no care of us as customers. Just very cold reactions, like they wanted to hide the problem.
