The hotel is rather special with a lot of former splendor beautifully restored and decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. My room 206 was extremely comfortable, especially the bed. I also loved the spacious shower cubicle in the bathroom and the integrated magnifying mirror. All the public rooms are very beautiful, the breakfast buffet was very inviting and had a lot of choice and it was great having access to an excellent coffee machine round the clock.

I did not like that I did not have a view of the gorgus park opposite (ceiling window) and the 2 floors with luggage were a major challenge for me. I did expect stairs, except the floors/stairs are markedly higher than stairs in a modern building. Both should maybe be mentioned upon booking. I also really struggled with the shower. I eventually saw that there was a note which was just too small to be noticed by someone who usually wears glasses but of course not in the shower. Despite the note I could not figure it out for some time, so I suggest it would be better to have a big card, plastified, with photos how it must look to start the water flow and also how to switch from overhead to handheld shower, plus which setting is which. But eventually it was a great shower!

The staff were extremely helpful. They provided useful information about the city and the advantage of the special tourist card which gave us access to various locations and travel free. They helped us extend our stay by an extra night, by phoning the hotel we have booked for that night to arrange to postpone that booking one night. We particularly enjoyed having free access to the yoga room, with all facilities to enable us to do our daily yoga routines. The breakfast was very good and the building itself exudes a lovely historical atmosphere.

It was a bit difficult getting access to the attic room which we had booked for a second night, but we were aware of that at the time, so were prepared for it. It's not really a problem if you are flexible and fit.

the hotel is located just at the train station however there is no noise from the station. There is a very nice park just opposite the hotel so you can enjoy walking there. The lady at the reception was very nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed her attitude. We travelled with a small dog and the receptionist offered our dog a small snack-to go. that was sooo sweet. We had a suite. the room was nice and quiet. very clean. the hotel overall is very sweet and you I'll never think that it is close to the train station. walking distance from the city center. I enjoyed staying in this nice hotel

I would give more clear information about parking as the hotel does not have any own parking facility and the visitors use city parking. I would give more details on this in the hotel facilities description on Booking.

We had small room on 2 nd floor. Everything was spotless. We liked the little complimentary goodies. Loved the coffee station with quality coffee and tea. Wifi worked great. Bed was comfortable. The icing on the cake was the tasty breakfast buffet. It had a nice variety of cold cuts, cheeses, veggies and amazing fruit salad. Omelets made to order. Super nice staff. Secure lockers for bicycles.

No elevator, no aircon.

The warm welcome, the cozy atmosphere, and the great location near the castle and the Danube. Maraike and the staff are truly wonderful – friendly, helpful, and always available. They made us feel at home!

This hotel is beautiful, unique, and cozy. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn’t have been better! We will be back!

A very nice small hotel. it is *right* at the train station, but is amazingly quiet. great breakfast!

The location next to the Italian was convenient and close to town and the castle for a morning walk.
