The faded charm and quirkiness of the property. Situated close to St Girons but felt you were in the countryside. The swimming pool was a big plus. Able to have drinks by the pool. We were on the top floor and the bedrooms were spacious. Lovely comfortable bed and pillow. Bathroom was great - good shower and huge sink. Book a meal at the Auberge next door; an absolute must. It felt like a bit of theatre and the food was outstanding.

I loved everything. I nearly slipped in the shower and wonder if a non slip bath mat would be an idea. However, this is only a very minor issue.

An amazing little chateau! We were bowled over when we arrived and saw it. We were cycling to Toulouse and Carlos was super helpful in every way, we stored our bikes safely, had IPAs in the reception fridge, loved the original style of the rooms, the swimming pool was bliss. I think the restaurant was the highlight, a full 4 course French meal, amazing, I recommend having dinner here.

Big room with antique ambience, beautiful fireplace, and a feature canopied bed that was very comfortable. The pool was lovely. The breakfast was self service but a huge selection of stuff. The restaurant, L'auberge d'Antan, was excellent.

Our room was on the first floor and there was quite a lot of noise from the room above - I guess this is a disadvantage of the beautiful wooden floors.

Beautiful setting about 10 minutes walk from the center of town. Historic chateau property and my room was in the attic. Huge space very clean and quiet. There is also a pool but it was closed for the winter. Would be a nice spot on a warm day. Nice welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. It’s a lovely hotel.

Maybe nice to have some tea/coffee/water in the room?

What would initially appear to be a magnificent but somewhat run-down building is just a facade for some incredibly beautiful and massive rooms. Ample car parking space for our group's 7 cars. Outdoor pool, and the restaurant next door is an absolute MUST DO for an amazing dining experience.

Beautiful old building packed with character, a huge room with very comfortable bed, a desk and comfy seating area. Good airy bathroom with great shower. Fine breakfast. Would love to return here, it’s a bit special.

nothing, apart from my failure to book a table in the restaurant for the evening! Had to walk in to town, where it was surprisingly difficult to find a restaurant open, on a Saturday night at the end of May

Outstanding rooms, beautifully presented in a delightful setting. Classically French with good parking. Great breakfast.

The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed, which was a shame. That said there are adequate alternatives a short walk away in town.

We had a wonderful stay at the chateau. we stayed in the Gite and not the main hotel so I cannot comment on the hotel itself (but it looked very nice and our friends staying in the hotel enjoyed it!). The Gite was spacious, clean and so well equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, the bed was comfortable and it’s set in the beautiful grounds. the pool area is clean, peaceful and we spent a long time relaxing. there was a party at the chateau at the weekend and Agnes contacted us to let us know in advance, which was very considerate and the party caused us no problems at all! there is plenty of parking, a carrefour supermarket 2 mins drive away. The attached restaurant is lovely and I recommend eating there whilst in Saint girons. thank you you Agnes and team for a lovely stay!!

we liked everything but just a tip, take mozzie spray, as we got bitten a lot. absolutely not the hotels fault, but just a recommendation :)

Very comfotable hotel in scenic grounds. Very friendly and welcoming host. The restaurant was exceptional in terms of character and food. Overall a memorable stay.

Kettle in the room would have been a bonus.

The breakfast was OK but not a great deal of choice and the coffee machine wasn't that nice. Better to get breakfast in the town.
