The breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Please note that there is a regular bus service from Blois to St Aignan which costs 3 Euros. We were not sure if it ran on a Sunday so took a taxi to Tours. The taxi driver told us it would cost 200 Euros but when we got to the station he said 242 Euros. We felt very much at home in the hotel and wish that we had more time to explore this beautiful town.

The WiFi did not seem to work very well at all.

The hotel is only a short drive from the ZooPark Beauval. It offers a nice view on the picturesque river on the other side of the road, which is not much frequented at night. It has a nice bar area where you can enjoy an 'aperitif' before dinner. There is a nice vibe and friendly atmosphere transcending the location. The hotel seems to be run by young and enthusiastic people. Food cannot yet compete with the expectations in the generally high standards of french country inns (like 'Auberge du Bon Laboureur,Chenonceau') or other 'Grand Hotels'. But this might improve with time.

Very hot day and no air conditioning meant the room was quite difficult to get to sleep in.

No air contioning. In room 108 a paiting fell on head in the middle of the night.

No storage space in room, no restaurant, the only reason we booked this hotel was it claimed to have a restaurant, even offering online booking, on arrival on a sunday evening we were informed they did not have one leaving us to find a restaurant on a sunday evening in a strange town not speaking the language much. Will use another agent in future

The breakfast was bizarre and not worth the 12 euros each we were charged. The bedroom lacked areas to place things. The dining area was like a works canteen. Good air conditioner.

Lack of comfort. Only one small pillow . No glasses or cups of any kind/.
