I picked it for it's good reviews and they were not wrong. Location was superb for us. The hosts were so welcoming and the 3 course meal they provided was delicious as was their traditional French breakfast. The motel room was warm and comfortable with an excellent shower and we were able to park outside. The host was happy to welcome us in before the standard time.

Although the owner said he didn't speak English well, he was brilliant. We were made so welcome, even considering he had a big family gathering that evening. We were looked after and well fed. If we return that way we will certainly be booking there again.

There's nothing not to like, it was exceptional.

Room clean , warm and bed very comfortable. The shower was excellent high enough to get under without stooping. Breakfast- selection of pastries with preserves , yoghurt, fruit juice and coffee reasonably priced

This 'motel' deserves at least another "star", perhaps two, and it is rightly popular. A friendly welcome, a clean and comfortable room. Not finding anything to my taste on the evening menu (as recited), the cheerful chef / cook told me what she had in the fridge - a good dinner ensued. Will definitely visit next time I am in the area......... or just stop for a refreshment to say 'bonjour'. A welcome break to a long journey.

As above - to ensure fresh produce, the evening menu was somewhat limited - BUT chef / cook (a lovely lady) was happy to improvise. So, in effect, nothing I didn't like!

We booked this as we were struggling to find any other hotels on Booking.com in the right location for us. The motel is easy to find and is very quiet considering it is next to a busy road. Fred (the owner) is very friendly and cooked us a 3 course meal although the restaurant wasn't open. He has a lovely collection of toys and other memorabilia from his childhood.

The host was very welcoming and did everything for us to feel at home. He went the extra mile to explain the menu in English. The food was nice and reasonable priced.

The people were really nice and helpful. No problem. Location easy to find and food was excellent.

5* welcome from the Host & family Quiet location, easily accessed

The very large bed was fine but a smaller bed would have left more space for a second chair for example

Not much. It was conveniently close to our destination

Despite having been advertised as 24/7 check in and being sent a PIN, there was no facility to check in automatically. We arrived late (2:30am) because of the M20 closure in the UK but the whole place was in darkness with no way of using the PIN we’d been sent. We had to sleep in the car until a member of staff appeared about 7am. We were then given a key to a room which was filthy (bin was full, wet towels on bathroom floor, dirty glasses and used cotton buds by the sink and a bed that looked unmade) we were so tired that we managed to get some sleep before leaving at 9:15 to travel on to the funeral that was the purpose of the visit.
