Excellent location if you want to shop for furniture. The rooms are large and well appointed. The service is quick and efficient. The breakfast spread is huge with some awesome options for all tastes.

There was always a wait of minimum 15 minutes to enter the breakfast room. In such a large hotel I'm sure they could find additional sitting space to accomodate all guests

Reception staff un welcoming compare to other hotels. Not easy to communicate. For two days they didn’t refill the coffee packet’s in room and only place single pack which leaves one of us not having coffee.

At arrival our cards didn’t work and very common in China. They refused to take $’s nor €’s as a deposit to spend the night. We arrived late evening and asked them to help exchange some money to cover the first night at least but we got no help. I suggested to even give a guarantee deposit of $1,000 for the first night until I manage to exchange some money the next day and again they said sorry we cannot. I was left to spend the night I wonder where ? Luckily my wife had 1200 rmb and that saved us. We ordered some food to the room for dinner and they said sorry we cannot serve you food as your amount is not enough, had to disturb and wake up my Chinese friend after midnight so that he could pay from his device via wechat. After the payment was done, the staff became friendly and started saying we are sorry. I know the Accor group are not beginners in the industry but I felt the manager of the building needs to be fired if I was the owner. I am also in the hotel business and own 2 hotels but we can never treat a client this way. We accept any currency as guarantee and find solutions in order to solve the clients problems. Surely the manager was French and wears a G string.

One of the best places I have stayed at. Breakfast buffet was amazing over 3 different buffet stands. Facilities were on point and amazing. Sky Bar & Allegria Restaurant are definitely worth visiting!

Staff - Not very helpful. I checked in late in the morning exhausted. The AC was not working. Front desk staff had a hard time understanding, and even when they did, they were so casual about it that I was a little shocked. They barely let me change my room upon persistent insisting on my part.

The variety and availability of food. Every-time we needed to order room service something was out of stock!

The service was excellent. Special mention of service from conceige Bell attendant - Thomas! He helped us beyond his call of duty as it was our first trip to Foshan and we were not familiar with directions and getting around. He was very attentive and looked into the details. We wish Thomas all the best in his career with the hotel. Thank you Thomas and Sofitel for making our trip a memorable one in Foshan!

Very polite staff and helpful , location , starburst around you and other fast food such as Mac and KFC so you won’t be struggling about food 😅 one of the best part is , im here for work , however the hotel ambience gives me honeymoon vibes 😍. The breakfast restaurant,s view is unique.

The entrance, the building itself, comfortable bed, proper and a great room, the food and everything else.

It is not cheap, bookings.com hold your money and you pay when you arrive. Wish there can be one place where you pay.
