Sagalassos Lodge and Spa is set in the Taurus Mountains with magnificent panoramic vistas in all directions. The air was cool and clear and this is a very special place. The facilities are excellent and well maintained and we took full advantage of the pools and sauna. The breakfasts (included) are substantial and sumptuous. We had dinner at the hotel every night because it was so tasty and good value. The staff were particularly friendly and attentive. This has been the best hotel on our 3 month tour

If I was picky the only complaint was we needed to ask to have the room made up on one occasion

Perfect location for an overnight stop to break the journey up. The miniature gym had a working treadmill, light hand weights and exercise mats. Friendly staff. Warm swimming pool - 15m. The sauna and jacuzzi were both too hot for me and I only lasted about 3 mins in each.

We were there on a Sunday evening when there was no food provision so they very kindly brought in a chef to make us food. It was difficult to negotiate and know what we were going to get or how much it was going to cost. We were very happy with the food (mezze, salad, bread, kofta, chicken, chips and a cold vanilla custard for dessert) but we were a bit shocked by the price of 850 Turkish lira pp (roughly £18 a head) which was vastly more expensive than we had paid elsewhere. Wish we’d asked first!

this is my second stay at the hotel, so it can be concluded that I am completely satisfied. everything was ok and the published pictures are real.breakfast is standard and dinner was excellent

The locarion is great, in the middle of the forest. The rooms are big and the view is beautiful. The breakfast is very good. It is a quite place, good for relaxation.

Everything was great except the price at the restaurant. The prices in the menu are different from the final bill. In this case you should pay attention. We were not careful and we paid a lot.

Location close to Sagalassos ancient city. Good sized room with excellent view across the hills. Very good evening meal in restaurant, although very quiet (only two other guests). Buffet breakfast on second morning of our stay had a good selection to choose from and eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Very good massage.

Outside pool was closed although no indication of this in the advert. Bar was closed. Breakfast on first morning of our stay was ‘a la carte’ although no menu was given - just a very basic Turkish breakfast plate offered (no eggs) - had to even ask for bread and juice! Some staffs attitude indifferent (although others very friendly).

The location is truly beautiful, on a hill surrounded by trees and fantastic views of the mountains and valley. Sagalassos is just 10 min away with a car, and it was one of our favourite sites during the trip. Breakfast buffet was great, and we could enjoy it on the patio near the outdoor pool. We loved the hammam, sauna, and the indoor pool area, as well as the super relaxing massage by a lovely therapist - highly recommended after the long day of visiting the ruins (this is an additional service, ask the reception for booking). The room was simply decorated but very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and mostly clean (shower heads desperately need descaling). We only stayed for 2 nights, but if you have more time, this area has a lot to offer. We were sad to miss the Bodrum museum, where most of the findings from Sagalassos are located.

The room and the restaurant were spotlessly clean, but other areas - e.g. bar, bathrooms in the spa area not so much. The outdoor pool was supposedly open, but it was really dirty. Several areas need maintenance and possibly renovation. Overall, the object could use some upkeep and love..

Hotel in lovely setting, 10 minute drive from the archaeological site (which is highly underrated and one of the most scenic and dramatic ones in Turkey - we spent over three hours there!) with a nice, big, empty pool, spa services and its own restaurant. To top it all off the staff and manager made us feel welcome.

Convenient location to explore the Sagalossas ancient site. The room was comfortable. Good breakfast.

The gym is quite old, I wasn't able to use some equipment as it didn't work. Spa/massage facilities were offered but it was unclear what the pricing was and when the facilities are available- it would be nice to have a leaflet with list of facilities.

Great and beautiful hotel, but many facilities were not working, such as sauna, hot tube and indoor swimming pool.

The price, and you could tell how overpriced it was because it was empty in the middle Of the summer. And the fact that so many facilities were not working. Such a big hotel should also have at least one person who speaks English.

The breakfast was superb. We were told dinner was not served mid week, but the chef turned up and cooked us a lovely meal. The views from the hotel were amazing, there is a lovely outside patio area by the pool where you can eat or drink, staff were very helpful, very quiet and peaceful, close proximity to Sagalassos.
