We stopped for just one night for a little detour to visit the Temple of Apollo, on our way back to Athens and it was a surprisingly pleasant stay! They had been hosting an event, but that didn't delay our check-in at all. The room is clean, comfortable and it has a pretty view. Breakfast is buffet style and it was OK. The hotel is at a very good starting point to explore Delphi. We walked down the street almost all the way to the museum and did a loop around town, which has so many cute places to get dinner and enjoy the sunset. I didn't anticipate the ticket line for the museum/temple being so chaotic the following morning, so if possible get tickets before heading out!

Besides all the great amenities, it was the incredible architecture and design of the hotel that did the trick for us. The hotel was very scenic and comfortable, with spacious rooms, a bathroom, and a wonderful pool overlooking the hills, offering a spectacular view that extends to the sea. The garden was amazing as well. Plenty of nature, an Instagrammable hotel all around, with nice staff. We also loved the parking right outside the hotel. It was a perfect stop on our way to Zakynthos. The hotel is also just a short walk away from the Oracle of Delphi and lets you explore the town on foot, then come back for another dip in the pool. Looking forward to going back there!

The bed could have been a bit more firm.

Great location, short walk into the village but just outside with beautiful views. We arrived at 10am after visiting Delphi , we were welcome to use the pool and staff ensured our room was available early at 1pm. Spacious, lovely lounge and grounds. The pool is fantastic. Room with a balcony looking to the sea, ac worked really well, large comfortable bed. Nice toiletries and a gift of baklava. Generous and varied breakfast. We also had lunch which was delicious, huge portions. The hotel was quiet( early July) and no evidence of tour groups which I think I’d read in reviews. We loved it!

The only small gripe was the gardener using power tools for an hour or so but I suppose it has to be done sometime and we were at the pool in the morning, probably the least busy time.

We loved the hotel building and space and especially the pool

We felt the breakfast was fine but could be great and the use of space - it would have been nice to use the outdoor balcony outside the breakfast room for breakfast on such lovely mornings. It could also be a great place to have tables and chairs out to sit and have snacks and drinks in the afternoon/evening - could definitely be utilised more.

Amalia is a hotel chain in Greece. The hotel in Delphi was certainly once one of the flagships. But that was forty or fifty years ago. Nevertheless, everything is very well maintained. The architecture is spacious and there is a huge, very cold pool. But you can't overlook the fact that the hotel urgently needs a thorough renovation. The staff were friendly. The breakfast corresponds to the quality of the hotel, which is mainly used by coaches from 5 pm. The buses also leave again between 7 and 8, which is when it gets noisy in the corridors. You can walk to the ancient part or drive a few minutes by car and park there free of charge.

Great facilities and location, beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Not too busy. Great views

The breakfast buffet was limited and nothing special. Dinner buffet was cheap but every time the same. Not great quality. What put me off was that they charged huge amounts for drinks. A coke is 5 euros!!! They don’t list the prices for drinks so it’s a total scam!

Breathtaking views and pure relaxation. The hotel’s massive pool overlooking the city was absolutely stunning, especially with the majestic mountain towering in the backdrop—an incredible sight to soak in while swimming. Our room was equally impressive, offering panoramic views of both the sea and mountains that made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The food was consistently delicious, adding to the overall luxurious and memorable experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Large room, excellent breakfast, pool will be lovely in summer, the whole property is built to take in the view of the mountains and see,it looks like every room from dining room, pool to bedroom gets a balcony and a beautiful view,in it's own generous grounds but only a five minute pavement walk to town.

Nothing really, because of it's size it attracts coach loads which it can easily cope with but check in might get a bit busy 4-5. I mention this now on all reviews,I think if you offer TV then they should be internet linked so you can log into your netflix or prime,it's such cheap technology and we can't be the only people who like to eat,go for a walk and then shuffle in bed to watch a movie.

It’s a very cool hotel, feels like it’s from the ‘50’s. the common areas and lounge are very comfortable with excellent service and the swimming pool is magnificent with incredible mountain views. The buffet dinner room was packed with tour bus people so it was quite busy and loud, I’m sure in September this is a staple for their business and we didn’t mind so we went out and ate at one of the beautiful patio restaurants nearby. The town is really cute and the ruins of Delphi are mind blowing in their mountain setting. One of the highlights of our month long trip in Greece.

An elegant modern yet inviting hotel with beautiful common areas, a sparkling pool with comfortable lounging options, gardens, easy parking, a delicious breakfast with wait staff serving coffee and every option you can imagine for breakfast choices. The bathroom was large and very well maintained.

Our room was very nice - both a lovely view from a fairly large balcony—- so good! The rooms are not large but they are large enough! The outside wood trim on large and beautiful balcony doors needs a bit of attention. There’s really nothing to fault. Just beautiful!
